TenEightyOne
Semantics. Everyone would still call it the lockness monster regardless I guess California had it's own Nessy discovered 100 years ago but don't know much about it. Plesiosaur I believe Firstly, they'd call it the Loch Ness (not lockness) monster... and the photo you showed is of a Baird's whale. It washed up in CA sometime in the 1920s, the photos are still claimed by conspiracist publications and programmes to show a plesiosaur or some animal "unknown to science". Various "experts" have also said that the carcass had elephantine legs with toenails etc. etc. Complete rubbish, I'm afraid.
JoshGTAfreak
Myths are a pretty big part of GTA if you think about it. If you look closely at the Police car insignia, we already have at least one BigFoot reference.

S1LV3R_W0LF
GTA had an alien in that military base hiden, or was it in Tomb Raider 3? I'm confused now, but easter eggs like those are cool if there is actually some, i remember the gun of bubbles or the whale in Just Cause 2, was a cool touch, but I also remember those body bags in SA in a cave that took you no where, or the myths people created around the UFO's, bigfoots, the masked guy with a chainsaw, Carser City in GTA III (left over of a city from the cinematic prison car at start) and few others, those wold be cool, but I don't think Rockstar will both much with it, maybe if it was Las Venturas with a Area 51 type of thing and even with that wouldn't be much. I think the GTA myths will always be a myth created by the players. when they get bored, even GTA IV have "Ufos" that are nothign but the light effects of planes. GrandTheftAuto101
How it is San Andrea? A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, pesent day Southern California. Southern California is a megaregion, or megapolitan area, in the southern area of the U.S. state of California. Large urban areas include Greater Los Angeles and Greater San Diego. I meant San Fierro and Las Venturas are myths, as in not true.

Stinky12
Maybe a prodigy of the REAL Battle of Los Angeles, I mean it was some serious stuff. A show call Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, tried to recreate what happen during that night based on a photograph. The photograph show military light beams from different positions, seem to show a solid object. But when they try to replicated it, light beams just passes through. So they try other methods such as maybe it was a weather balloon but it if was a weather balloon, it's a mystery that after firing hundred of shots, none of them managed to take it down. Here is Area 51, maybe they can add this to the myth too @ 2:38 pay attention to the top left area. Edited December 4, 2011 by Stinky12
