ThePhong
I tried modding for the first time today, yes, that is first as in for any game and didn't backup the files i modified. I tried to add a BMW by replacing the Manana.. I couldn't find a Manana so I foolishly modded over the Blista Compact (because I had one at my home).. I really want to revert back to the original game. I tried downloading some of the original files but they seem very different to the ones I have now. I downloaded and run the game through Steam. At the moment my only solution is to delete the entire game and re-download it as a whole again (15gb..) but I don't want to waste all of that download again. I think the files I modded were the Handling.dat and the vehicles.img I'm not sure if there were others. This is the mod I downloaded: http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/bmw-740i-e38-f11349 Someone please help. Thanks.

Symbiote
I've never tried this, so I don't know exactly what it does, but maybe this will help: In Steam, right-click on GTA IV and select "Properties". Then, in the "Local Files" tab, select "Verify integrity of game cache". Note: Steam says you have to back up your save files, because they'll get deleted.
