fireguy109
Zmodeler 1. Just open two windows and export the car part as a dff. Go to the window into which you wish to add the part and just click "import" and you can import it. When you get around to putting it in-game you'll need to add the textures that the part uses into your new txd file. 2. Select all of the models and do this - Click me 3. Yes you can. Just import them as dff files. Sketchup 1. Export the car as a 3ds file using Sketchup Pro. You can then open this car in Zmodeler or 3ds Max. Let's say the car you made in Sketchup will be replacing the Jester. Import a Jester into the program and then move the dummies around until you have them where you want them. Once you get this done, save the model. Your next step is to fix the hierarchy. I use Zmod for this. Open the Jester in another window and have a look at its hierarchy. What you need to do is make the hierarchy of your custom model look just like the hierarchy of the default Jester. Once you have this done you will need to export the car with a collision file. I'd use the one from the original Jester - if you need a new one you can always make one later. 3ds Max Sorry, can't help you with this. I'm not good with peds. Props for making a topic to put all of your questions in. This really helps the staff maintain order.
metaller
When i import jester i have to add textures? EDIT: WHEN I IMPORT THE CAR IT READ OUT OF MEMROY??? Edited December 2, 2011 by metaller
fireguy109
I was just using the Jester as an example. Just import the car you plan to replace in your game. What is the file you are trying to import? You may not have exported the car correctly. Refer to this tutorial to learn how to prep your model for Zmodeler - that one is for buildings but it's the same steps. Also, the file may not be openable by the program. Which one (3ds Max or Zmod) are you using and which version? Is it registered?
