Clone Gang spawns

I keep getting gangs of CJ clones spawning in places using a stripped scms with a few mods that have nothing to do with spawning CJ clones. They spawn with that destroyed car model you see about, and occasionally some beat up lowriders. They're usually armed with the machine pistols and they go about shooting at me or running away from me. I've had them spawn with both a fully stripped scm and with ZAZ's stripped + externals. The only mods I'm using with them are my version of the SCJ mod, my lil skateboard transport, a save script, a regeneration script and a give player weapons script. There's nothing in there about spawning these clones nor the cars they appear with. I've had them spawn near the police station in downtown LS and the hispanic neighborhood in LS that I can't recall the name of now. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen before and if it could be something cleo is doing or an actual "myth".

never heard about

you mean the gangmembers of Varrio Los Aztecas or Los Santos Vagos have the look of the curren player?

no matter which main.scm is used ?

 

remove all your cleoscripts and test with origin main.scm and test again

 

if it still happens, then

open pedgrp.dat

there you should find these entries for gang config

if it is ok, then check your peds.ide

search for these id numbers,

it must be:

 

105, FAM1,

106, FAM2,

107, FAM3,

108, LSV1,

109, LSV2,

110, LSV3,

111, MAFFA

112, MAFFB

113, MAFBO

114, VLA1,

115, VLA2,

116, VLA3,

 

 

if the names are changed like

114, null,

then you found the reason

 

if id numbers 114, 114, 114 have names VLA1, VLA2 and VLA3

then look into gta3.img

and search for VLA1.txd

to see if it is a Los Aztecas

same for id 108 - 110

it's not like the random peds spawn, the burnt out cars and clones just pop into being and drop to the ground. typically not while you're looking directly at them.

 

EDIT:They also pop into being in interiors which is a might odd since they're as likely as not to be found running around the ceiling.

Type 1 roadblocks try to spawn gang members based on which gang controls the zone (probably the zone in which CJ is standing rather than the zone in which the roadblock spawns, but I haven't tested this directly). If no gangs control the zone then CJ clones will spawn.

 

Use opcode 076C: to "set_zone" for the gang density of your choice.
