I searched for that fight scene from undefeatable and, well, it really was a lot worse than I thought it was going to be. Just watch for yourself.

Only a small one today, no farting about. Food's a big part of Christmas, so I leave you with Punchfork, which displays a range of foods for all skill levels. If you're new to the cooking world, give something from this website a go this festive period and surprise your family with culinary greatness.

Or food poisoning.

Here's one of them.

"Bacon-Wrapped Potato Bites with Spicy Sour Cream Dipping Sauce".

I don't know about you, but I could make sweet love to that dish and not call it in the morning.

I'd probably just eat it to be honest.

Few things today.

Many people enjoy a drink over Christmas, but make sure you don't get caught out thanks to revealing Facebook photos - simply replace the offending images with cats and re-affirm your position as an animal lover. There's nothing worse than colleagues and schoolmates finding out you enjoy shouting at mice while drunk, so why not pretend you've joined the felines and wish to engage in the war against rodents? You'll be a yule-time hero.

Now to be serious for a moment. Here is the statement from the (2015)QUILT project:

In 1987, a quilt created by The Names Project Foundation covered the National Mall in Washington, D.C., memorializing those we lost to AIDS. Today, we stand at the threshold of another defining milestone in this fight: by 2015, we should be able to provide treatment to the millions more who need it, drastically reduce new infections, and virtually end the transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies. 1.4 million HIV+ pregnant women need access to treatment – treatment that only costs about 40 cents a day.

Take a minute of your time to pay a visit to this amazing website and contribute if you can. The one gift nobody wants this Christmas is AIDS. The rewards are small but the progress is monumental.

No, but it would be the most cheery curse to possess. I couldn't flash my ID anywhere in pubs without getting "the look".

On hindsight, maybe the box should link to the quilt project, but it works better with the light-hearted thing first. smile.gif

Punk-in-Drublic

Nice thread, only just stumbled upon it so just spent the past 20 minuites browsing through all 14 windows. Some of those genius ideas are awesome, I need to get one of those things to attach onto the side of a pan to give it a more accurate pour!

Yeah, I did like that link myself. I wasn't so much a fan of the plugs though, truth be told - the option of being able to pull them out of the wall just seems like a messy one, messier than regular extension leads. Imagine getting something behind it too? Nightmare.

Do you know it's Christmas?

You do now.

By now, the Santa tracker is a pretty familiar idea, but there's a bigger dude than that, and apparently Christmas is all about his son, so imitate him with God's Mouse. It basically takes Google Earth, blows it up to a massive size and gives you a big mouse to browse with. The shadow is a nice touch. Surprisingly addictive, and makes exploring places you'll never go that little bit more fun.

It felt spooky when the sky through my window suddenly went a bit dark when I moved the mouse over my location. Its cloudy today. biggrin.gif

There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.

Just a boat-load of miscellany today, folks:

1. Cedarseed's guide to emotions and facial expressions - this shows you the importance of body language, how to succeed based on how you hold yourself and gives you handy pointers on how to read others. Essential in school, work, and in everyday life. Remember, be assertive but not aggressive.

2. Cedarseed's guide on how to draw hands - admit it, drawing hands for anything is a pain in the arse. It's the one part of the body I often struggle with, so I use a cop-out and just draw them holding something. For the budding or keen artist out there, here's how to draw a hand and how to draw it well.

3. "Draw on me" - exactly what it says. Just have a scribble.

4. Men doing normal things in the most difficult ways - a collection of nutcases doing every day tasks like making coffee and filling water bottles in the most unusual, awkward ways possible. They belong in a circus.

And here's a festive cat.

I was going to wait until the 25th for this, but it didn't seem fair. Besides, it is quite clever...

Sorry.

You need to remove the trailing slash from the links, Craig.

By the way, I'm finding the slow motion way funnier than I should.

Changed it, thanks pal. I do enjoy slow motion myself, really adds emotion I think...

Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.

Day 18 and snow fell last night here in Manchester. It's amazing how several inches of snow can render a city useless! It isn't like I have to go anywhere until later on, so while we're here, go over to Google, type "let it snow" in and hit enter.

In other news, do you want to know what the most bizarre grammatically correct sentence in the English language may be? Have a look at this one and see if you'll get chance to squeeze it into your next conversation. Top tip: you may need to be living in the old west.

If you're the unlucky sod picked to cook Christmas dinner, the pressure may well be on. Everything has to be timed just right, nothing too crunchy and nothing still moving. Make sure you don't poison your family with this frankly odd but valid way of checking if meat is raw, well-done or just right.

Finally, they say it's the little things in life that matter. See how true this is for you with 1000 Awesome Things.

When you click them, do they take you to a website that you can at least see or do something on? Maybe it has something to do with where you live? I don't know.
