Slamman
Snowed about two times up until yesterday, here in the Midwest, missed it if the storms went through North or South, and missed you. Reported the driest winter here since the 1800s, my parents don't even believe it, but that's what they've been saying. We're just expecting an inch or more this week, however. The ski resorts opened last Monday! So, how's Winter treatin' ya? I know some people saw some rather nasty weather already this season California's not out of the woods either., Heading to Los Santos next Spring http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/gallery?sectio...8420712&photo=1 Edited December 1, 2011 by Slamman
Ari Gold
Going to be 25 to 28 next Monday to Thursday, with warmer weather coming after that. f*ck yeah. Beach time.
Slamman
Remember last year?!? Praying for the opposite, just some light snow, a few inches http://www.ask.com/wiki/January_31_%E2%80%...erican_blizzard This was echoing some forecast I heard a few weeks back, but we've had a very nice run, getting about 50 on Thanksgiving day. At least cutting winter shorter in the long term http://www.accuweather.com/en/weather-news...ms-for-th/55833 The rain that freezes alone can be crap, I prefer snow to rain in winter any day, it's less treacherous Edited December 1, 2011 by Slamman
KilnerLUFC
We're apparently due snow at some time next week, but apparently it's sh*t around here for snow due to being near the sea. Didn't work last year, when the whole town was 'shut down' due to 2 weeks of snow that never melted.
Notna
Normally here in Finland, snow starts to rain in the start of October. But this year, first snow snowed a week ago. And it's already gone. I really want a white christmas.
Ryan
The weather here has been weird the last week. Got our first storm of the season last Wednesday. Dumped over 50cm (20 inches) of snow on us. After the storm passed, it got really warm. It's been anywhere from 10°C to 20°C every day since. All the snow has since melted Obviously. We even had thunder and lightening yesterday, which is unheard of in Canada in December.
Kalvin
It sucks here, where i live. Never feels like a real Christmas because there's never any f*cking snow. But the weather has been weird here: When it turned winter, it was boiling; like it was summer. Then later in a few days we had some VERY strong winds, like 0.1 less wind to cause a tornado. Then it was freezing like it was actual winter, then it was beautiful weather (sun, pink and purple sunsets, aahh..) Now it's back to heavy winds. Slamman
The snow fell for half a day, into darkness overnight, but now with some light showing, it's just a dusting, can still see the ground. However, the temps threaten to drop to the teens next week, with more snow chances expected. No big storms, but enough to get a white blanket set up around here
ZDANZ96
The snow is falling wonderfully outside right now... --------------------------------------- No it isn't. It is making 100°F right now, though it isn't the hottest day since the beggining of November. Summer is coming on December 21th making days longer, and temperatures even greater. I will pass my Christmas as always - jumping into a swimming pool, like a boss.
Brown Sugar
I'm susrprised it hasn't snowed yet, i live in Scotland and we haven't had any so far, it was absolutely freezing walking home today though, but it rained this morning.

Triple Penetration
Since I moved in England (in summer), it's very strange for me to accept that I'm not seeing or having winter with snow deeper than my knee level or snow at all. Going back to rodina on holidays, I just can't do with all the things that remind me cocaine.

Robinski
This is the first year I can say i don't want it to snow. Last year, and the a lesser extent the year before, was a farce. Sure they were the worst we've had and were outliers, but f*ck did it make life hard. Getting to and from uni was a massive ballache, I ruined my leather boots thanks to the ridiculous amounts of grit the grounds-staff put down and the lower half of your body just seems constantly a little bit damp.. Sure it's pretty, and having massive snowball fights between the different halls was hilarious but I'm not sure if I can be arsed this year. I'm sure once I get back home for the holidays and out of the big city I'll change my mind though.

Rebel
Its going to snow, why would it not after 3 years of snow every winter in England, for it to suddenly stop? What makes me angry is the fact we've had 3 years of this sh*t come winter and all those times we were not prepared enough due to not having enough funds to buy gritters/other snow sh*t. You'd think this being the 4th year they may have invested some money into such things, I don't see it going smoothly though. They had to close Heathrow runway for what 4 days or something last year just due to the fact they weren't prepared. sh*ts going to hit the fan. I'm just hoping I wont have to drive in it so much since it sucks ass. Nobody bothers to come round on the back roads or even some of the main roads to villages to grit them. If there hasn't been any in Scotland, I'm suprised. I live in Manchester and snow can vary from thick heavy sheets, maybe 8 inches tall like last year. Or there can be f*ck all, and be rainy and windy and all that sh*t. I heard there may be some snow around 21st December but not certain. I love snow and would like to see some rather soon but it is far from cold enough to snow anywhere near here. Average temperature of 7°C during the day and 4°C at night but feels warmer, despite the wind we have at the moment.
SmC12
It was supposed to snow here around mid-November, but nothing yet. It's getting much colder now though and there was the first signs of ice/frost a few days ago. But it's been nothing but rain accross most of Scotland and there's been some serious flooding in some areas. Hopefully it will snow soon though, I'd much prefer that over the rain, even if it does become annoying after a few weeks.
Talakua
Here in Eastern England it has been unseasonably warm for the past few months, today it got up to 15c in my area. This time last year we were shin deep in snow. Oh weather, you so crazy.
iGrandTheftAuto
Between 5-8 years ago there wasn't any snow here where I live, and it snows every year and we usually get a lot. By now we should have a lot of snow because it's December. In my opinion I love having no snow. I'm in high school sadly and the more snowdays we have the more school we have to make up in the summer so I hope it doesn't snow anytime soon. Pagelzilla
I'm pretty close to you, Slamman. But there is no snow by me, just overcast skies every day and blustery 30-40 degree temps. I get sick of winter approx 10 minutes after the new year begins. Then unfortunately there is still 4 to 5 months of frigid hell.
Carbine23
I'm at school in Buffalo, NY and no snow has happened yet. I'm leaving in a week anyway back to Long Island but last year on the island we got hit with snow pretty bad.
AlexGTAGamer
Hasn't snowed here in the West Country (yet) just alot of rain, though snow is forecast. Hopefully we'll get to have another white Christmas this year like we had last year. It's definitely cold enough for it.
UNRATED69
There's been snow in the morning, and sometimes late at night, but it's all melted by around 10 A.M. anyways. I'm surprised that we haven't had any major snowfall here yet. Usually the ground would've been covered by now.
Hmmm nice bike
I am surprised that there has been no snow here in Chicago yet. It has been getting freezing cold in the mornings, though. That and they're expecting one of the worst snowstorms in a century to occur here this winter. I'm hoping it doesn't and that it's just typical media hype, since there was already a bad snowstorm last year that already caused a lot of problems (it was a bitch having to shovel out of all that snow). Slamman
As I linked above, they've predicted a colder and wetter winter, but it's been one of the driest for about 100 years or so, It's rather hard to believe, after the nasty storms last year, I hope we can get by unscathed at least once a millennium
Viperman
None here yet, fife Scotland. Although ski Scotland webcams are showing snow at the resorts at the moment. Can't come quick enough for me. Snowboards collecting dust! - [- No Fear. No Limits. No Equal. -] - - [- Ride For Life -] - Digging deep. It's not just an expression that's thrown around the locker room at halftime. It's a way of life. A daily code that drives a champions existence. It's not always glamorous. It's not always blue skies and sunny days, and its certainly not always welcome. But love it or hate it, to become a true champion take pure, unrestricted commitment. Cheat
It's ridiculous that it's already been snowing in the States, but it's yet to in Finland, or at least Southern Finland, where I live... It's actually quite frustrating, it hasn't even been frosty here for less than five times this "winter", which makes it impossible to have any outdoor rinks or a general winter atmosphere 'round here. I actually like snow, ice and the frost so it's really getting on my nerves.

England is terrible when it comes to 'weather'. Autumn always sees trains cancelled due to leaves on the line, and then winter sees the whole country grind to a halt due to being unprepared, even with all the weather reports and whatnot. Do admit though, I'm still a kid when it comes to seeing snow. I love how it can be like 2 in the afternoon, yet everywhere is completely dead, apart from the odd taxi going down the road at 1mph. And the red tinted sky.
