I need new 3d modeling software . google sketchup sucks . and 3ds max is $3,900, seriously What the f*ck autodesk?! right now im pretty annoyed because their are no good cheap 3d modelling software . so any help is apreciated. One thing you can do to find others, go to http://alternativeto.net/ in the search type "3DS Max" (minus the quotes), or any other product you might be looking for, and it'll show you a list of alternatives and show if it's free, commercial or whatever Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It so useful, I can't believe it is free.  If you know your basics around 3dsmax then blender should be easy to pick right up with.
