Great find, dude    But this doesn't make sense. Why OXM would put the new Rainbow 6 as a cover story instead of GTA V?

Well what would they even have to put on the front cover? There's no official artwork or anything really. I guess I can only hope they don't just pull some screens and obvious info from the trailer.

Yep, and every magazine seems to be going about it the same...the presentation thus far. I think one reason COULD be the late arrival at their "going to press" time, and you'd normally, in the 1980s, need about 3 months before a magazine covered a timely event happening that day.

 

@Deso1990, Why is your English typed so horribly if we're to believe your friend is a professional journalist or at least has employment through one. If that actually happened, a magazine write up from a demo they were reviewing in NY, that wouldn't be out of the ordinary, really.

You can blame auto-correct for that one, for some reason it auto-corrects grammar to grammer. :S

^^ We know Rockstar is still hiring since it was brought up in the GTAF about a week ago. I can see them getting prepped for the new hardware while still working on this iteration of consoles, and the PS Vita or Nin WiiU

So, that cover story is rather misleading, NextBox: GTA V slow Next Gen. I don't see a problem stretching out the RAGE platform on this generation of hardware, do you??

Where's the Oh, Really? icon in Fast Reply when you need it. Either way, the presentation is the same, no big cover story, that doesn't come until there's plenty of info being released, that's not the case at this time. One user here suspected the BIG NEWS is that the game will come out this week or something... That's REALLY jumping the gun

Well, I can't dissaprove that one of the next issues of one of the UK magazine will have some great info on GTA 5... One of them certainly will at some point!

I dunno PLAY have always been good at previewing games before anyone else. I wouldnt go as far as saying I believe PLAY but I used to buy it when i was a kid. So im 60- 40 lol

I'm of the mind that it will have to be easily accessible, however, that ONE German magazine did get a nice scoop on GTA IV!

if i had my own magazine and got a proper preview of GTA5 i would use it as my selling point and do a full cover, poster size artworks, the whoke shebang. Not a piddley little badge sized thumbnail of the logo.

 

GTA5 is such a universally praised and hyped game, if a mag got a preview they would all want to jump in and say 'omg we got a hands on preview of GTA5 and the next mag will have screens and lots of new info regarding the game setting, features and the protagonist'.

 

In other words, im sure they would be more literal if it was a full on preview.

These magazines seem to be coming from one big club, because it's the same trend, a small mention of GTA V on the cover with persuading titles (first details, screens..etc). Many of these magazines really go back to the same big club; network. I'm waiting for Game Informer's April/May issue, because that's when, I believe, the real new details will come out.

I'm waiting for Game Informer's April/May issue, because that's when, I believe, the real new details will come out.

That's a long time. I expect more news between early January/February and that's not a guess. Rockstar wants people to look at their website so they can reveal more information about Max Payne 3.

That Twitter about a Feb release made me go check out Rockstar's main page, and from there, I opted to Tweet them about these clues, see if they had something on PS Vita or RDR sequel. I didn't see them get my Tweet right away though! hahaha

 

@LotusRIP, I'm sure if you did, you'd be talking SPECIAL GTA ISSUE, wouldn't you? Not all magazines are obsessive GTA fanboys! haha This is the truth, they are pretty non-biased in coverage so most games get equal time
