There will be more than one city/main area. I'm pretty sure they'll do the unlocking of areas thing, it's something that's very normal and expected on GTA games and I can't see them having the whole map unlocked straight away, they wouldn't take away the sense of accomplishment of unlocking a new area, and I can't see them unlocking one city/main area bit by bit, cos it just makes no sense. Mexico is maybe a long shot, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Los Santos/HUGE countryside area/some version of San Diego as the 3 areas.

Rockstar won't give away any information. They will invite different gaming sources to check out a demonstration from the game, and then previews will be written, which will contain long-waited information. We will get to know more about the protagonist/s, the story, and gameplay, but only in general as more deeper details will be revealed in times leading toward the release date in other invitations for new demonstrations. As for the release date, I guess we will get to know it with the first wave of previews.

I think it will be more like the "life in the west" series for RDR. A guy talking about some of the features, goals and technology while showing some gameplay footage. No way they'll show the map.

 

Atleast thats what i'm hoping for. I've seen the RDR videos a hundred times! I've even wathced them after the game released just for pure awesomeness.

Because it's one of most unlikely things to happen, basically every option except the protagonist one.

We'll get a bit of a back story - Like "Everybody's looking for that special someone" and we'll see a bit of action - some gunfire or a brawl.
