Iroquois
Hmm...maybe heavy rainfall, could cause minor floods.
jukebox
Since GTA V real life counterpart's best seasons are the spring and summer seasons, so we may see one of those seasons. That would mean snow for the most part is a no go. If anything I'd like the duststorms to make a return. Something realistic though, not duststorms that feel like fog. What if you were driving down the rural roads and seen this coming! http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lnw6lusX...z7as5o1_500.jpg Its called iraq.....that crap sucks, specially getting stuck in one
walker1996
i reckon it should be a weather so at some times in the game it will snow light and stick or not stick and other times for it to snow heavy and stick not stick

SGT. Johnson
Snow just won't work in Los Santos. It's a shame really, because it's such a great idea. I wonder why they didn't do it in IV? They've obviously thought about it, as in GTA San Andreas, you return to LC in Winter. Not only that, in LCS, while doing the Car Salesman missions in Portland, at one point it will start to snow. The snow will stop falling, however, upon completion of level 8? of the Car Salesman missions OR if you fail/exit the mission. If you want snow, unfortunately, you'll have to revert to modding GTA IV PC. EDIT: Does it snow in the San Fernando Valley or perhaps, San Diego? Edited December 19, 2011 by SGT. SGT. Johnson
I remember Snow rumors about GTA IV because of the analysis of the still images from the city we were allowed to view beforehand. Mount Chilliad ...that leaked test video footage showed plenty of snow near it's summit. We'll see I'd say That's obviously fake! Why would it be called Mt. Chilliad still? And besides, I believe R* said it was called Mt. Slippery?
bluetops
What if you were driving down the rural roads and seen this coming! http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lnw6lusX...z7as5o1_500.jpg ...Then you're dead. Yeah,I like the idea of snow because in the country I live do not experience snow. We experience a lot of rain...STORMS! And I'm tired seeing it again,in a video game! But I'll not be disappointed if they didn't include snow. I'll be disappointed if there are no cars.
kurvenflo
EDIT: Does it snow in the San Fernando Valley or perhaps, San Diego? No, you won't have snow in those areas. But there can be some snow in the southern areas of the Mojave desert near LA during the winter (e.g. between Little Rock and Hesperia) But that is far away from a winter landscape you might know from the east coast... Forzum
Don't think it will be in, but would have been awesome.
Slamman
I looked over GTA modding videos to find a snowmobile one in GTA IV, using the sled in regular streets while other cars appear to lose traction and slide around, if not drive on as intended. I can see someone modding the game up if on PC, just as they have with GTA IV since this is still the same Engine, by and large
Tashan
Snow would be great in GTA V. What do you guys think? Excellent idea..and really brings another realism in the world to life. Snow racing and driving are all upsides. But is this even possible given the fact that Los Santos (in the trailer) appears to have no such signs except you are allowed mountain climbing covered under the snow! Slamman
A snow region, higher mountain range, I wouldn't dismiss something very much akin of Red Dead Red
coryc90
Snow would be great in GTA V. Not as a mod. Also how should lightning be displayed? Should it just be a plain flash or should it be the proper lightning bolts? Maybe lightning could strike building occasionally --- and at night the lights in the building go off for a few seconds? What do you guys think? If you want snow, they should do a game like GTA: Denver or GTA: Antarctica. Lmao. Snow in Los Santos just seems weird and impractical. Imagine trying to start a mission and you have to wait for the streets to be plowed.
Irrational
Snow? Maybe. Snow already appeared in GTA: Liberty City Stories. But maybe, it could be like in Bully? A little season with snow in which you can do specific missions, and then, the season ends and everything get back to normal. Or in the top of the great mountains as someone mentioned before.
