aragond
Just to let you know, JB Hi-fi -- an awwwstralyan music, dvd and, lately, everything electronics and computing store -- have GTA V on sale. You read that right: You may now, officially, (pre-)ORDER GTA V down under. No release date. Second trailer not even out. Available for pre-order. (I'll post pic when I next remember to bring a phone into the store.) What a bunch of t0ssers. Anyone got similar stories? J-B
For a second there I thought I had done something to you. lol Anyway a lot of online retailers make games available for pre-order before they have a release date. It's just what they do.

Not <insert-random-number> months before. Tha's just ker-razzy! Sorry, but I have to butt in here. I work at EB-Games, and this is just false. Diablo III has been there for over a year from memory. Duke Nukem forever was the same. Big games go into the system for pre-order practically as soon as they are officially announced. Pretty sure Call of Duty games go in 6 months for preorder before they even come out as well.
RaBBiTSWYD
its happened with juiced people pre orderd then game didn't come out. juiced 3 or something? nah the original actually, long story short was planed to come out then company that made it went bankrupt mid way through game. So was claimed to never come out till another company bought right and finished it.

RED_
Pre-ordering like this must be the best way to get a crap load of money way before you have to give anything back in return. I know it evens itself out but a company that is going down the toilet could save themselves with a big cash injection when a giant announcement like GTAV is announced.
