BlademanX
Back in the day PLAY magazine had the scoop on most games well before they came out. So I used to buy that. The other magazines didnt always get the latest info..Even official PS magazine was a bit late compared to that. But these days things have changed
DeeperRed
So I am the only one who believes that PSM3 is just doing this for sales. GTA V is immensely popular but Rockstar are giving them nothing, so they just spread a standard trailer analysis into 2 issues and this thing that we "missed" we have properly picked up on already but didn't consider it that game changing. MotjoBoss
First person view or something? I don't even know, I'm actually mind puzzled.. are you sure this magazine is reliable? They could just be sh*ttin' with us to make themselves stand out abit amongst IGN, Gamespot and all the others 'picking' at the trailer. Yes I think 1st person because of the AGOK scope on the AK.
Vegetarian Piranha
So I am the only one who believes that PSM3 is just doing this for sales. nope, there are many of us that are with you on that. their tactic is obviously working because they got us thinking about the trailer and theres been a boost to the "GTA V hype". and i can bet most people will buy the next issue expecting something. milkmansun
i watched the trailer more than 400 times, haven't noticed anything special that will change gaming... its just to sell their sh*t

milkmansun
one of the things that any game might not have done is that the sand in the beach blown to the side at the beginning of the trailer AIR its everywhere, the clothes and banners moved in air blown, like they are real. GTA36362355
Nice point there milkmansun. Thrilled to know that there is something game changing which is yet in front of us but we cannot see it. Lets enlist things which can be "game-changing" We may figure it out that way. I am thinking about the economy system. When we get poor, we can only live in slums. The richer we get, the better houses available. Can people please stop thinking about traveling to other cities. Rockstar said it's only Los Santos, I mean what do you need more to know it won't happen in V. I don't want to offend anybody but in the end you will only be dissapointed if you don't get it out of your heads. Maybe there is one or two missions where we travel to LC or VC like in SA but that wouldn't be game changing because like I said it happend before in SA. Whatever it is (and I don't think they have anything new at all) there tactic is working beacuse we all specluate like crazy about it.
GTA36362355
It actually can be about a location. Maybe a scene was located outside the locations confirmed i.e. Southern California. Can we cross the Mexican border?? Or THE BAY AREA!!

jjwilson
I said what it was a few pages back, its related to the for sale sign, and no not the fact it might hint at a release date, because of the release date no one else will consider the sign means something else. arodtwlv
No one has said it yet so what I think is game changing could be, weapon attachments. You see many add-on's in the heist scene and that could be leading into something new that rockstar hasn't done.

milkmansun
Thanks d33pthr0atgta6, its the biggest thing for me when i watched the trailer, the sand on the beach.. it felt real, just made me drool ha ha @geom666999 what if the multiple protagonists were Niko, CJ, Claude, Tommy ????? To me it would be a great gift
Zip87
If I'd have to make a wild guess, I'd say this game changing feature has to do something with the fact that a certain construction site keeps popping up in the trailer and even focuses on the STD construction company's Mile High club project. But honestly, I think the most realistic thing to believe is that it's just marketing to sell more issues of the mag.
kurvenflo
if its multiple protagonists then rockstar will be losing a fan of gta for over a decade. i want to be one character! oooh maybe its some sort of character creator like saints row style but not as silly obviously ahh don't be so hard on that. If it is done properly - and you can expect that from R* - then everything will be fine. Think "A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay..." By watching the trailer over and over again, I might begin to halluzinate, but somehow the hobo with the cardboard looks like a bloated and broken up version of the guy from the balcony (that Ned-Luke-dude) And I imagined the Mile-High Tower construction to be shown at different points of progress... Maybe I should quit watching that trailer... edit: ^^^haha great minds think alike Edited November 30, 2011 by Mr. Cozzarelli

Drakulbites
Hi, first time poster, long time lurker. I could have sworn I registered months go and just never posted but it seems I didn't. Though my usual screen name is taken. Anyway, on topic, I think I know what it could be, if it's anything. A lot of the shots focus on either run down areas or building sites. My theory is that we arrive in LS and, due to the financial crisis, it's a little worse for wear. What if we can develop the city as we see fit? There is a scene where a guy is overlooking a couple of construction sites at 0:42. Before that shot we see the STD construction site. This is the same guy that we see speeding around in a blue sports car so we can assume he's not just random NPC. I think this makes sense because R* have said it's just Los Santos and surrounding country side and it's the biggest map to date. There isn't really any reason for a GTA game to have a huge sprawling countryside unless you could do something with it. Perhaps we can buy houses and rent them out, hence the "For Sale" sign. People often said the money was useless in GTA IV. If we could develop property in GTA V, we'd never have "too much money". Sorry if this reply is a little all over the place. I'm trying to keep it short.

MAYBE THE WHOLE GAME IS A FLASHBACK. @arodtwlv- weapon attachments have been talked about, a while ago. @milkmansun- i had a thought earlier, (ended up turning into a massive storyline ) maybe this guy will have a younger brother who is still stuck in that crime lifestyle, and comes running back to you to save his life etc etc...(if you want to hear my little storyline part pm me). knochentrocken
maybe "its good to be back" is an anagramma to "it's good to be black " OMG that means CJ is back and black. I don't think so, I think the whole idea of old characters appearing in V was just a quick idea most people got too excited about. One of the Houser brothers once said in an interview that they are done with the characters from the PS2 era. I'm pretty sure it will be a new protagonist and we won't see any of the old ones. I wouldn't rule out the idea of multiple characters. Maybe after they finished IV and the two episodes they were thinking that the whole idea of multiple characters interacting within one story was cool but this time they want it to feel more connected and have the player change characters within the 'core' story. I remember this topic about the perfect trinity (I hope that's what it was called) and I played through the story once more to experience the story and missions within the correct order but it didn't feel quiet as connected as I hoped it would. Sorry guys my english is a bit limited but I hope you get my point. Edited November 30, 2011 by knochentrocken
CookPassBabtridge
The property development angle crossed my mind as others have said....but to be honest, we have seen these high rise buildings under construction in probably every GTA, and they never amount to anything than set dressing. Plus, with magazines, whatever info they have is automatically at least a few weeks old by the time it hits the press. Unless they have paid for an exclusive...but they would be shouting louder if they had. It's going to be speculation based on the trailer, hyped up to get people buying the mag
