New Evidence Of Car Customization?

First of all, I tried a search on car customization threads, and I came up empty-handed, even though previous threads have been made. I also feel as if this topic warrants a thread creation, rather than being another post in a long list in the Trailer Analysis thread. If a dedicated car customization thread can be found, I will move my post and kindly ask for this topic to be locked.

 

I bring you now to a slow-motion trailer:

 

Look at the scene of palm trees between 0:25 and 0:37 of the video posted. Now zoom into the last blue hatchback. There seems to be a reddish glow traveling under the vehicle. If there isn't, either I am hallucinating, or you just cannot see it. Now, this glow could be due either to lighting, or could be some form of red neon glow underneath the vehicle. I believe it is the latter rather than the former because the glow seems to be unnatural, and the blue hatchback is the only one which clearly sports it. Now, this may be evidence that car customization is present, but since this is just based on the trailer, "take it with a grain of salt".

 

What do you think of this?

 

EDIT: For all thinking that the light is coming from the brakes: although it is a possibly, to me, it seems implausible that the glow from a brake light can be so strong as to be transmitted on to the pavement, and be seen from very far away. Even when driving in the shadows, brakes cannot be seen glowing on the pavement in GTA IV during a clear day.

This belongs in the trailer analysis topic. And the glow you see is the brake lights as the car is slowing down for the light.

Sorry, but I thought it was important enough to warrant an actual post. I can say that this probably would have been buried with repeated observations if I had put this on the general thread. Did you read my first paragraph? I would have much rather posted this in the general car customization thread.

Just my opinion, but it looks like more of a brake light than a neon light (since I can only see it traveling behind the vehicle). In all honesty though, I'm almost 100% certain that there will be car customization in GTA:V.

 

What were the biggest complaints about GTA:IV? No planes, no countryside, no car customization (at least, those were the most repeated complaints that I had seen). It seems like R* has specifically gone out of their way to give us those things in this game.

I considered them being brake lights, but I figured that brake lights do not reflect onto the pavement during a sunny day, so it must be something else.

A long time ago I told someone that there is evidence of car customization in the trailer, and there is. It's just that this isn't it. Keep looking though

I think this game takes place in 2012ish too, what kind of a jack ass would put neon lights under his car still. That was pretty cool for 5 minutes back in 1997. I hope for car customization but neon lights is ultra tacky.

Then again, I do still see some funny sh*t attached to foreign people's rides around here still.

Brake lights, not neons. Remember this is a trailer (beta version), some things still need to be fixed.

I think it's just the taillights... and even if it's not, it's no proof. I mean in IV the gangs all drove customized cars, you even had a friend with a garage where he (well his employees) modded cars... for all reasons you would think that you would be able to customize the cars... but you couldn't. I mean I really hope that we can, but we just have to wait and see.
