Smallo,Tuesday, Feb 28 2012, 21:09] Have you guys thought about trying to make a functioning toll both on the golden gate bridge

It's not that easy.

The toll booth may be tagged to the object via script, like other objects that spawn peds like hotdog stands, or bus stops. If that is the case, then we can edit the model to make it look like the SA one, except it has an interior for the person running the booth to operate, along with transparent windows so you can see inside it.

Thanks guys. VisualIV truly makes it look better. I haven't tried with the original timecyc as I like the fact that VisualIV's IV:SA timecyc removes the shininess from CJ.

Edit: Ill test it and see if it works on the new map.

I hope I don't loose too much FPS. With the new map in LS, I get lower FPS then I do in LC.

It seems I made a mistake when uploading srt.img to my FTP (no free sites supports 2+GB files AFAIK). I should have zipped it first, because it won't let me download it. *Creates a dropbox*

 

@nkjellman: I think those trees are a good alternative.

The file is 2.2GB large though (which is actually the maximum for a standard dropbox), and I think others that are doesn't have access to that dropbox wants to try it too.

I am quite happy SRT isn't a stock feature of IV:SA. The tiling is awful, in special on large areas. I didnt like SRT in GTA SA from beginning, and I don't like it in the new version sad.gif If its an additional, its ok.

So, may I repeat my uestion for the Shamal script Blaster? Didn't get an answer yet.

If you want to go into detail with V's timecyc, it looks very pruple-ish to me and not that good. They should fix the sky color a bit

But , we are here to discuss IV: San Andreas of which the aim is to put the old SA as it was, with RAGE fundamentals and in no relation to V, so please keep the discussion about IV: SA and try keeping offtopic talk to a minimmum.
