rofl. I just said that because it looks like a copy of Rage Team , what about bringing back the old Rockstar Modding Studio? or Nijmegen Modding Studio?  tounge.gif

3Ds Max uses the processor a lot more than the card.

 

Been Exporting thousands of models and testing.

 

130 trees in 1 model works amazing in IV.

 

no flickering or anything..

 

 

RAGE truly has amazing rendering capabilities if only R* fixed the bugs.

I told you it doesn't work like that, if it would be that easy I would have done it by now. I tried copying the whole andreas folder from the map section, and made lines for every single .ipl and .ide file and also added them into the images.txt, but it didn't work, my game kept crashing. Also copying IVSA's gta.dat would make no sense, since it doesn't load any ipls or ide files, therefor it wouldn't load the map. Also I removed whole LC by deleting those lines from both images.txt and gta.dat, but still adding the map files 1 by 1 didn't work.

I don't understand, it should work. U ask me to release only map, so then i would rar pack andreas folder, gta data and images text. Then it should still crash, since it's exactly what you do.

 

 

Hey! Lookie here, beta 3 announcement, me gusta.

What I'm asking you is to make a version where the map mods work. I'm not asking you to upload the existing gta.dat and images.txt and the map files from the existing IVSA mod, because that'd be stupid, I told you it doesn't work.

What I'm asking for is a map mod only version which works on a normal GTA IV / EFLC copy.

It'd be great to have this map, because then all we had to do with my friends is install the IVSA map, then go online and play. I don't even need a gps map file, the raw map itself will do.

Also I'd do this myself if I knew how the mod works, but it's insanely complicated, since there's nothing in the gta.dat and that just doesn't make sense to me, so I'm asking some1 who knows the mod well.

NVIDIA Quadro / AMD Fire Series have something like processors who help the processor rendering the things , i only know NVIDIA Quadro but i think AMD got it too.

 

Well noone waste money for a Quadro only for gaming. there is a big difference between in-game and rendering

 

I must get over 150+ FPS on Vice City with my HD6750 , but when running MooMapper rendering the entire map i get something like 5 FPS... this is annoying.

The off-topic hero strikes again.

 

There were some HQ CJ textures posted in one of the old threads. Does anyone know where to find them and who made them? I've looked through the entire 2nd thread and 30 pages of the first one but haven't found them yet.

Yes and on my end even the eflc version's gta.dat was empty. And also R* doesn't check files anymore, simply if you mod, you'll be put on the modders server (where like 90% of the people are), also dw about spawning points, Idc if it spawns me in the water, I'll just use airbreak to go to the map.

Anyway yes please pack your files in a winrar, if you tested it and it works for you (without using the mod). I'd really appreciate it.

All I've done is add Modding Studio to the original Rage Development Team logo tounge.gif Barely a few minutes work, hope it inspires other people though! Here's a little extra:

The only thing I don't like is how MODDING and STUDIO are stacked, it puts the boundaries past the bottom of the star making it, well, look like it's sticking out tounge.gif If I could make a request, I'd say either reduce the font size so the drop of STUDIO is on par with the bottom of the star, or adpart an all on one line approach as I've done in my mock up so framing wise, it looks more fitting. But that's just me, and yes the 3D one is cool.

I agree with Ash on how that text is stacked. A combination of Ash's 1st logo and the 1st or 3rd made by T777 would be perfect IMO.
