Making a to-do list of vehicles should be better to organize the already converted vehicles to dont convert again and waste time.

Only a gta.dat, and images.txt and the map files. I don't care where my players spawns, I simply only wanna have the map, since doing that manually just proved to be impossible.

We don't support this kind of half mod releases, your on your own on this one.

A you as the modding team who made IV SA. It should be easy since all map mods work like that, and since SA is a huge ass map I don't see the problem.

Also I hate your installer since all it did was delete my savegames and not make the mod work, furthermore I never trust any installer, I like to do everything myself.

 

So my next question is, why wouldn't it be possible to get only the map into IV? I can remove LC myself by deleting all the ides, ipls from gta.dat and the img lines from images.txt, but when I added SA's map the game just kept crashing. I don't wanna see low quality weapons, I don't wanna see low quality vehicles, in fact I only want to get SA (especially the LS part into my game). So is that possible somehow?

Anyway, this means i won't be able to update any files on the mod and this mod will probably lose a lot of awesomeness i would bring to it...

 

Although he forced me quit it, i'm not quitting modding, i will find other projects i can contribute to or create from scratch

Apparently I was removed from the DB as well a few moments ago.

 

Was I doing something wrong or is this because the mod is over?

I formatted my PC and it f*cked couple of dropboxes, I'll make a new one, pm your email or post it here.

Thank god I backed up the DB from before.

Because that explains why you won't give me the front and the rear end about this what happaned on MSN and instead you tease me with Anderius pictures.

 

In the events it says "You left Project Andreage" and not that it's removed so that means i must've been kicked and so did NK.

Also, cols for Venturas and the desert have to be remade with materials

We simply can't please everybody, it's a mod that brings sa to iv, seperate release is not what we want.

As for the setup, it has been tested, fully, any problems is just differences on your end, that we can't predict.

 

Releasing in rar would be stupid, we have 3 games to think of (1040, 1070, eflc)

 

Just copy the weapons and vehicles back from your stock game.

Well that's what I'm talking about, releasing this as only a map mod will make no difference, and you don't have to make 3 versions since all map mods work on every patch in both IV and EFLC.

Since we can't do it ourselves, because for some reason when I installed IV:SA the gta.dat file was all empty (only some minor stuff there, nothing related to SA's map), that's why I asked you guys to simply copy the existing map files and the map files only, place a working gta.dat and images.txt in it, and that's it.

I'm sure a lot of us are here for only the map.

Yes this will be a great thing. It will help out alot. I noticed the polygon issue before, and that will look nice. Keep up the good work.

If you look at the hill you can kinda make out the polygons in the first pic. (old pic) In the second pic you can't. (New proper pic)

I told you it doesn't work like that, if it would be that easy I would have done it by now. I tried copying the whole andreas folder from the map section, and made lines for every single .ipl and .ide file and also added them into the images.txt, but it didn't work, my game kept crashing. Also copying IVSA's gta.dat would make no sense, since it doesn't load any ipls or ide files, therefor it wouldn't load the map. Also I removed whole LC by deleting those lines from both images.txt and gta.dat, but still adding the map files 1 by 1 didn't work.

Ill work on the cargrp.dat. All the converted vehicles + emergency vehicles will spawn. No more seening GTA IV cars, which ruen the 1992 setting.

 

Edit: The Visual IV screen of LS kinda reminds me of GTA V.

Yes it's Visual IV, but we will tweak it even further where needed to ensure the best quality.
