hi im working in convertion of SRT3 MOD FROM BLITZ  to the iv sa mod

would it be a crime to make normal/bumps for SRT 3? I don't know if you need his files or not to accomplish that, but I thought it was worth a shot to ask.

If you use SRT3 you need to use those texs to make normals.

well in maybe he has to use the texture but to create the actual model of the texture (model the road for example) make it high poly (details,displacement)

and bake that model into a normal map.

Is it possible to add SA's dirt to it? (maybe a higher quality remake of the original SA texture) Or what about a slight speckle like IV's vehicle bodywork had? It just seems a bit flat/bland.

Nice touch with the high quality sign, any chance of making original SA sign in higher quality?

This is an awesome mod but the textures and models look horrible in the Rage engine. Is someone working on improving models and textures? At least round-off the hills and roads. Make a smoother ride. Thanks!

Nice work man. Looking great.

 

The vehicle's we need next that I think should be top priority are the police car's (make it SA PD because we can't make them appear in the right city yet), police heli, Ambulance, and Fire Truck.

 

Once these are converted, I can get the SA cars spawning so you don't see any more IV cars. That will allow for a good car collection that will be sutable. Sorta like how VCR did their vehicles.

There is already a SRT3 Mod for IVSA, BUT , Blitz have denied the authorization of SRT3 on this mod.

 

You got it all wrong.

ParoXum, denied authorization from the start of creation Srt3 mod like 7 years ago, meaning is permanent. So stop beliving that something will change. On the other hand what I made, doubles the answer.

 

Blaster_nl control your thread; not this thing again.

 

Remider; If any of you has the courage to use the old ParoXum Srt3, the first version of 2006, go ahead and wait to see what kind of answers you will have from him, even if there are many reported threads, made by him when Srt3 was used somewhere. What I did, my answer still remains unchanged. So you will get nowhere.

Can you make a map mod only version?

Only a gta.dat, and images.txt and the map files. I don't care where my players spawns, I simply only wanna have the map, since doing that manually just proved to be impossible.

Nice work. Now all I will need is the Police vehicles, and fire truck so you won't see any IV vehicles unless you spawn them with a cheat or trainer. The thing that will help me alot, is a list of all the vehicles converted, and what their replacing.

since the cap is like twice as much as original san andreas wouldit hurt converting vice city vehicles aswell?

Thats a good idea. Maybe even the VCS exclusive vehicles. The Jet Ski would be cool.

Bad idea, keep SA, SA

Keep VC, VC

And keep VCS, VCS

 

Don't mix.

 

Plus, not even 50% of the vehicles is converted yet.

Some of the VC vehicles were in SA, but they don't spawn.

Its first version of cars (only converting)- next all cars will be going to hard smooth of all parts(not high poly but to gta 4 level) All will be in high level.

Hi,

It's the second time i try GTA IV to SA, this map looks amazing, i want to congrat the team wink.gif

But i've a problem, all is installed correctly, i chosed "normal installation", also i did not copy my sauvegames.

So my specs are

I3 i540

4GB of RAM

nVidia GTS 450 1GB

 

My game was running fine before installing it, and my error is : When i press "play" button, nothing happen (i've tested the hotfix to..). My game version is 1.04, and i've also tried in my ELFC, same bug confused.gif

If some one could help me tounge.gif
