Hello, the GTA IV SA Snow mod during installation this message is always: Run-time error '339': Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not corretly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Blaster, how many times will you leave and back? ;d I remember there was a time you left, now I came here for about after five or six months AFK-ing, to see how the progress is, and you're still "leaving". I'm just curious... WTF.

If so i hope you will reupload it soon .

Its not Next Generation Graphics. Its ICEnhancer 2.0 on patch 4. The new Nex Generation Graphics looks pritty good, but this looks better because there are more effects avalable on patch 4. I do think that Next Generation Graphics looks better than ICEnhancer for the newer patches.

How do you fix WTD files, i'm curious.?

1. Export all textures from .wtd(example - mytxd1.wtd). You may export it to .dds or .png

2. Delete old mytxd1.wtd and create the new with the same name (mytxd1.wtd)

3. Import all textures again, set the compression format - DXT1.

4. Check the textures with alpha/gradient alpha channel. If you see the simple alpha channel - set the compression - DXT3, if you see the gradient alpha channel - set DXT 5.

5. Press on the save.

You get the less size of .img + you don't have the bug with disappearance of the area anymore.

It's usefull advice. All working.

You will have no problem with the disappearance of the area, but other areas maybe have corrupt .wtd files.

p.s. need a time to fix .wtd files.

Hardly anyone else besides me will help with the fix of wtd.

p.s.s You need a time to complete all .wtd. It's hard work, but very usefull for fix the disappearing.

I test it in gta 3 rage in industnw district - all good.

Why not 4Shared? they only remove illlegal files , a IVSA Update isnt illegal, it can be hosted with no prob and it fast to download.

The biggest problem is that updates aren't shown, but there is too much whining and ENB talk.

Maybe you don't have to give us pictures but give us a little something once a week to let us know you guys are still active on the mod.

 

 

Have you guys made any progress on ingame interiors like area 69 and the warehouse in Los samtos?

The difference is that you don't care anymore, and you dont do even 3

times if you dindt release new LV.

There is already a SRT3 Mod for IVSA, BUT , Blitz have denied the authorization of SRT3 on this mod.

He denied the textures to be distributed with this mod. He can't deny independent users to use the textures on this mod. Go ahead and use those textures.

I'm a novice modder but hopefully there is something I can help with. Are there any things I can do to help? Maybe some of the other members, players and readers can help with something too.
