I'm trying to run the mod, but all I see - a process IVSALAuncher.exe that hangs there and grabs some memory.

LaunchGTAIV works too. icon14.gif

 

IVSALauncher is just a window that checks the mods latest version and shows the latest news/updates, i don't know if it actually does anything ingame (apart from being able to start the game from IVSALauncher window)

have you made sure that you saves from gta4 are deleted from the saves file ,if there not it will not launch ..

Error after launch are the most annoying error , because it dont shows motive, uninstall the mod, take a CLEAN GTA IV and reinstall it , if it doenst work , redownload the mod , if it still doesnt work, redownload IV, if it still dont work , suicidal.gif .

On EFLC the launcher is needed so you don't have to mess with your normal install.

Dakica, please speak in your original language because we can use translators , i cant understand what are you talking about.

 

If you are talking about infinite loading , download the hotfix.

im a good translator , he said he has downloaded the mod but when he trys to install it , the installer program comes up with a install error , what i say is make sure you have a fresh install of gta4 patched with NO mods.

It would be nice if it would be a new responsible team, that would deal with the new conversion SA, but it's only dreams. IV:SA is dead after all...

IV:SA ain't dead. I'll work on it myself, this mod has grown too much on me since last summer , it's hard to leave it gathering dust like that

 

Although i will work on it , i will also help out StillDre and the guys with modelling needs and whatever they ask me from now on

 

Ps. "it's buggy, unstable" etc won't change my mood

- More CJ sounds

- Fixed LV random placed objects

- LV timecyc

- Few new vehicles

 

The lv updates (interiors, lights) will stay in eftw.

"LV timecyc"? How it? LS, SF, LV will have different timecycs?

 

Tomix converted peds, they will appear in the update?

-Apparently the script.img works.

-Less space taken up.

-Implmenting features in both versions is easier.

-Mainly runs off of IV files so the silly random bugs with placements don't appear.

 

But one thing that bugs the sh*t out of me. Why are you not going to implment the LV updates? It seems kinda stuped to not have them.

 

Also, can some of the new vehicles be the Emergency vehicles? I want to make a cargrp.dat so only the converted vehicles spawn, like Vice City Rage had. It will make the mod feel like it takes place in 1992, and be more SA like. The IV cars seem to kill it.

GTARandom decides the releases now, maybe it will all be saved for a beta 3.

 

The LV updates are fine, but I rather have EFTW have the updates first in the release.

Ok man, thats cool. I can understand that. Also Random most likely will be fine with me getting the missing features into the EFLC version.

 

Whats missing from the EFLC version in your oppinion? (Just making sure I'm not missing anything.)
