Unfortunatly i can't do any collision fixing work because random verts get welded together when i import an .obn from the IVSA files. I can still put the dynamic fences on the DB for the next release if you like.

PM'd, gonna work on generic+dynamic wbd files instead of static map wbn files from now on.

EDIT: Frank , doesnt the fences looks like gravityless? i mean , when you touch it it floats instead of falling

Fence should break into pieces, because the fence is too sturdy to remain with its every particle intact as the car's force is applied to it. (Not to mention it's wood)

You try to use old version, just install current OpenIV version and this problem go away.

I've actually been working on something myself.

I'm making Caligula's Palace look more like Caesar's Palace as it looked during the early 90s.

Love the map and love playing it on IVSA:MP. I have one request though, I'm doubting you'll be able to do it, but here it is none the less:

 

I noticed in IV:MP you can actually spawn AI

As the server host of course.... is there a way to create a script within the server that would allow us to do this too?

Unfortunately all the functions do at the moment is create the ped, it just stands there. You can teleport it and make it face different directions. But it will do nothing interesting like follow you and it looks like it's far away from having the ability to drive around, shoot etc.

Well I wasn't thinking it for peds walking around. I don't expect that the server could handle that. I was more referring to just spawning 20 of them with guns and having a firefight.

I'd like to report a bug with the launcher. It gives an error when you have IV and EFLC versions both installed.

Can I just use the installer in the Dropbox (Archive -> IVSA2RCSetup)?

My IV:SA² is stuck at the 'Loading GTA IV San Andreas ...' part after the screens come by.

Any help? I already had to remove the savegames, which I didn't remove, to not get the 'GTA IV doesn't work anymore' error confused.gif

Converting sounds now seems annoying, GTA IV have alot of sound improvements, in GTA SA the player itself removing on scripts almost dont have interations with people using sounds, on IV we have a sound for anything, and on the IVAUD files there are names (ATTACK_GANGSTER, ARRESTED, CAR_HIT_PED) On SA files its sound_001 , sound_002 , sound_over9000 so its extremely boring to find sounds that match it. but at least on the next update expect less niko and more cj... biggrin.gif

How does your ivaud editing tool work? Do you name a custom wav file something like ARRESTED_07 and import it to NIKO_NORMAL.ivaud? Or is it a lot more complicated than that? I'd be willing to rename all my CJ sound clips to stuff the game would read (ex: CAR_HIT_PED_02) then send it to you guys so all you have to do is import them (if it is that simple).

Well , not exactly ,the difference from the folder is ... well

this is only a folder , there is still PAIN_A and script

I'm using all CJ sounds possible , and it is ALOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of sounds. from 'ouch' to 'Yo bitch it was too good being with you gonna f*ck you tomorrow' tounge.gif

 

EDIT: The video near Shadow Mapper folder is NOT a porn video colgate.gif

 

EDIT2: making names to the sounds are not a bad idea, should be useful to people who wants to make videoclips with it , many CJ voices easy to find smile.gif but i dont find easy making that to over 4500 files. bored.gif

This not my IVSA Dev Folder, this is the folder that cointains anything related to GTA and GTAForums indirectly.

 

EDIT: It cointains a lot of sh*t , i made a cleanup on it , 95% less nonsense.
