Whenever I boot up the launcher when I click on add on's its just black does anyone have a fix?

can anybody help me? i have a cracked version of gta iv 1.0.70 and using custom installion as said in readme file.but my game not working when i click play button. then i select single player and launcher closes automatically and nthing happens.plz help me iam using windows 10 with intel core 17 6th gen 16 gb ram 4 gb gtx geforce 960m graphics.

Same issue, i have legit gta iv and it doesnt work  installing crack made me manage to pass the loading screen but it crashed to desktop before the game start

make sure your gfwl components are all installed and functioning right.you also need to install NET4.0 or a higher version.The most important thing is that you should remove your old gta4 original savedata files from the savegames folder in your C drive as GTAIV SA cant recognize those GTA4 files which is bound to lead to crashing.

ya have done it all, it says could not bypass rockstar games social club on both legit and cracked. I suspect it is because of the recent GTA IV update that was pushed by rockstar this year?

You wold need a proper Razor crack version of GTA4 files which should include 1911.dll and launcherGTAIV.exe.

by files, do you mean the crack only or should i redownload the old game version from third party sites?

if only you could provide us with more details like the screenshots of the files in your gta4 folder, the clip of the issue,etc.We could know the cause of the issue much better.

I have a downgraded Steam version of GTA IV (downgraded to 1.0.7.0) with the DLCs. I downgraded it with this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AyFKKu1L_Y. During setup, only XLiveLess was checked during custom setup. When the setup reached the patching stage, the gps.rpf, resident.rpf, speech.rpf and STREAMED_VEHICLES.rpf files couldn't be patched. After setup when I try to lauch IV San Andreas from the launcher it complains that the launcher couldn't find the EXE to be launched, preventing me to launch the game.

 I just recently installed this mod but there seems to be a problem with launcher. I wanted the pedestrians addon which is available from in-net launcher but it displays error 500 which means that the server is not active or available . Sad I can't see peds in San andreas

Give it another try - online services are working at the moment. There were some legacy code issues that I fixed a few months back. While the mod might be dead, I'd like to keep it operational for a long as possible for historical purposes.

Bit late to the party with this one, but it doesn't look like the downgrader downgrades all files. Your best bets would be to find and purchase an old retail copy, 'acquire' an older full copy, or own the game on Steam and use Steam DepotDownloader to download the old 1.0.0.7 manifest. Here's how I was able to get the game running with a legit Steam license:

1. Download Steam DepotDownloader
2. Extract Steam DepotDownloader.
3. Within the folder, hold down shift and right-click in a blank space within the folder - select the Open PowerShell Window Here option.
4. Run the following command in PowerShell:  

   Quote

   .\DepotDownloader.exe -app 12210 -depot 12211 -manifest 164691614299318355 -username YOUR_STEAM_USERNAME -password YOUR_STEAM_PASSWORD

5. Once finished, you'll have a complete copy of GTAIV 1.0.0.7 in the /depots/12211/6494866/ folder. If you kept your product key before Rockstar removed them from Steam (even from those that had purchased it before the removal of GfWL) - great you can install IVSA now!
   If not, you'll need to download the IV & DLC Downgrade pack (you'll have to find it because I can't link due to it containing 'warez' . Ain't it great corporations like T2/Rockstar can break and 'steal'/remove things from your copy of the game without consequence, but files to restore your legal copy to working and original order are considered legally questionable? Modern copyrights!) for some files and do the next steps.
6. Extract the downgrader files.
7. In the /files_for_bat/shared/install/ folder from the downgrader, copy the following into your GTAIV folder: lang.ini, logo-paul.bmp, paul.dll, play.dll, PlayGTAIV.exe
8. In your GTAIV folder, rename/delete LaunchGTAIV.exe and rename the PlayGTAIV.exe file you just copied to LaunchGTAIV.exe
9. Install IVSA with xliveless selected.

Where did you download the mod from?

 

Judging by the file name it detected, it may be a false positive. For what it's worth I re-installed the mod last year using the download on the main site with Windows Defender running and had no detections.

I have the same exact problem. I literally bought this game just for this mod, which I never have made it work in the past with cracked versions and different PCs (over the years I would try to install it from time to time).

 

My suspicions were that it was because I had a cracked copy of GTA IV, but now with a fresh legit Steam version, downgraded to 1.0.7.0 (I also tried 1.0.4.0 but same thing), I get the same error as you... It doesn't work.

I installed the mod on a clean copy of 1.0.4.0 (real 1.0.4.0 not downgraded). This mod just quits after EAX screen when launching with LaunchGTAIV.exe, but when going straight to GTAIV.exe it gets to the NVIDIA screen, then black screen for a while and then error. Before you say I got a sketchy version from some random site, I download from the official site and even did both the MD5 and SHA1 hash checks, and the VM in which it was installed was freshly installed and clean.
