The original IV (or copy with car/ped/weapon mods only without ENB) if fullscreen optimization is disabled in GTAIV.exe's settings works OK even on the highest settings

but IV:SA freezes every 4-5 minutes even on the lowest settings no matter is fullscreen optimization disabled or not.

 

Is there any working solution without downgrading my PC?

Same here. I have i7, 16GB Ram, GTX 1080, windows 10, 1.0.7.0 and the game keeps freezing after 5 minutes... every f time. I tried to disable the default mods but nothing... I dont know wtf is going on, bc I play this a lot on Windows 10 with the same hardware, like one year ago... maybe it has something to do with nvidia drivers!!!!!

Or with the fact that the PC port of GTA IV is horribly optimized.

I was able to find a version of gta 4 that was optimized,  tested it out and now the game doesn't crash every 5-10 mins also fixed some texture disapearing issues literally been playing it for hours...  But still could crash here n there it but its way less likely now and more reliable then ever before

Can't bypass social club launcher error when I try the windows 7 copy I was using under windows 10, if I do a clean install of the mod on windows 10, it doesn't bring up a window after selecting sp or mp.  The program just shows up in task manager decreasing/increasing the amount of ram it uses all the time.  I'm stuck.

sorry if this problem has been resolved. but. i own gta IV. i installed 3 different ways. default, custom x-liveless, pirated, (which it`s not) and legit custom. i have c++ 2005, .net 4.0, windows xp sp3. the mod installs correctly. then when i try to start the game i get this message. The required main add-on not found etc....please reinstall. i might know why, but i need confirmation. i tried the mod installer. stand alone program, it says Not a valid win32 application. i wound asume it`s either because i`m using Win XP or not a 64 bit system. same thing with Mass Effect mod managers. i would asume GTA IV-San Andreas uses the same or similar mod installer. damn i need to upgrade my OS. can`t even use Steam anymore. i tried beta 3 first, then beta 2. beta 2 starts up, but when i start a new game. i can see my taskbar flashing in the bottom right and the sound stops. btw my game is unmoded V1.0.7.0., i even removed x-liveless from gta IV folder. cus i know the mod installs these files. yes i know about using x-live only or the disabler.

Anybody else still play this?  Ive been having a blast with it...  If anybody is experiencing textures disappearing...  Try lowering the vehicle density..  This should fix the problem currently have it set to 11 and working fine!  Been adding custom clothes, models weapons cars..  Scripts tank mod,  jetpack mod man so much fun!!  Trying to add sa features..  Its awesome rage engine is sick.  If anybody is experiences crashes Dm me i can send you a link to a updated version of gta 4 that helps counter crashes etc. (=

This info was sent by a rockstar developer so it works 

If you are using high textures then use this command "-memrestrict 629145600" (ignore the quotes)If you are using medium textures then use this command "-memrestrict 314572800" (ignore the quotes)If you are using low textures then use this command "-memrestrict 209715200" (ignore the quotes)

can anybody help me? i have a cracked version of gta iv 1.0.70 and using custom installion as said in readme file.but my game not working when i click play button. then i select single player and launcher closes automatically and nthing happens.plz help me iam using windows 10 with intel core 17 6th gen 16 gb ram 4 gb gtx geforce 960m graphics.

Same issue, i have legit gta iv and it doesnt work  installing crack made me manage to pass the loading screen but it crashed to desktop before the game start

make sure your gfwl components are all installed and functioning right.you also need to install NET4.0 or a higher version.The most important thing is that you should remove your old gta4 original savedata files from the savegames folder in your C drive as GTAIV SA cant recognize those GTA4 files which is bound to lead to crashing.

ya have done it all, it says could not bypass rockstar games social club on both legit and cracked. I suspect it is because of the recent GTA IV update that was pushed by rockstar this year?

You wold need a proper Razor crack version of GTA4 files which should include 1911.dll and launcherGTAIV.exe.

by files, do you mean the crack only or should i redownload the old game version from third party sites?

if only you could provide us with more details like the screenshots of the files in your gta4 folder, the clip of the issue,etc.We could know the cause of the issue much better.
