Is there any way to get interiors to show up in the video editor?

Anybody? Or is it impossible to get custom interiors to appear in the video editor?

Actually not that unknown any more. It doesn't work because the starting position wasn't obtained by going through the entrance portal.

 

This has a common fix in scripting (SCO files) which registers the interior and alocates the player or camera inside of it

Thanks for the info though. I was curious because I'm working on a video right now and wanted a scene to take place inside of there. I guess I'm just going to have to turn off my HUD and record it without the video editor.

I wasn't able to notice it in some trailers, but does IV:SA retain different license plate for different cities like in the original San Andreas?

 

For example cars from Los Santos shows a Los Santos license plate while cars in Las Venturas would show a Las Venturas License plate.

To be honest I'd like it if they just did one San Andreas license plate. Why:

 

1. The original ones are too low-res.

2. Cities (at least in North America) don't have license plates. That would be up to states/provinces to design them.

 

Rockstar North had poor understanding of vehicle registration, highways, etc in America with San Andreas, and Rockstar NYC couldn't correct every British-thing in a game based in America. Nowadays, I believe Rockstar North has a couple of Americans to make sure everything is "American".

 

I think if they do decide to do new license plates, they must be based on California, (but "San Andreas").

Its kinda like how when you see a phone number you see ###-###-555-####. Its so they don't end up having a real phone number/license plate in the game.

 

But funny story. The building in the cemetery that you go to in the beginning of GTA SA. (On the west side of it.) I honestly did not know that you could go in there. All this time. For six years. Ive been playing GTA SA since 2006 and I did not know you could go in the building. I haven't seen the interior in SA but I found it in IV SA, and being that it had no MLO I don't think Blaster and/or Random added it.

 

Edit: @Random: I checked by the Private Air strip. I get the bug too. But I remember spawning an object with the Native Trainer that made an area with the bug. It looked funny. I don't really remember what it was.

True, but Rockstar with their parodies usually directly bases them on something real-life. I would say that in the GTA universe, the same rules when it comes to vehicle registration in real life applies in GTA. For example, in V, the San Andreas license plate was directly based on California (albeit a couple vehicles appeared with a block font, this may have been changed to a font similar to that of real-life California license plates) and they even got the numbering (real-life Cali being 1ABC123, GTA V being 12ABC123).

 

Sorry if I'm causing a big fuss over license plates. The smaller details seem to be a "make or break" thing for me. I've already created my own license plate, and if you'd like a custom made license plate, I might be able to make it for you.

No, they will not because the license plate system isn't in IV like it was in SA.
