No, I "hacked" the main menu Social Club overview to show our own webpages. (gta4Browser.exe)

And what about the Café? is it hard to make fake pages or impossible?

 

And are you using the latest DB files? because its still the IVSA2 icon

I've never looked into the café workings. Probably when OpenIV gets support to edit it, we can look into it.

However, it would require some SCO modifications to trigger it and in 1992 there was not really an widely used Internet yet.

 

EDIT: I use IV:SA² with the files from DB. Probably the icon has not been replaced yet.

Oh c'mon, that's an easy hack and no it's not the in-game internet mod. It's a mod of real web at social club - by that i mean he just changed the address to ivsa site

 

Or he he just set internet explorer system to navigate. It's all based on IE

 

 

Too bad guys, the mission and tv won't be included

 

 

Oh and for those interested: webpages are in WHM files, inside the html folder, this again has no relation to flit's nice menu hack

What do you mean about TV? isnt just replace the random commercials to something like IVSA trailer? Or you talking about the 'sitting and watching TV' script?

It's unimportant to most people i know. But it was an achievement to get it working.

 

And TV would feature some custom videos as Easter Egg, and would be nice sometimes at least to me...

I understand it's a nice achievement and I'm glad you finally got it working (how, actually?). Same for me replacing stereo audio.

We can easily include a 10 MB looping video. Don't know about what and how to call it in the scripts.

I don't see how these features help IVSA. I used internet in IV to find dates. I don't know why we would implement it in ivsa.

The internet could be useful for easter eggs.

However I don't think animated gifs are supported. But we'll see what we can come up with when we are able to edit the website files.

The original author of this script has vanished, while the script is a .cs file, we still need the project files to expand the script.

Buddy, as i've said to random (and you via pm), i'm going to restart working on pedpath, but just in my spare time.
