Hey I have a problem that I posted on your forum but nobody answered.

 

I downloaded the mod on EFLC and Luis as Niko's voice in normal game (No mod). I didn't try for Johnny. When I load a game it's written "LOADING - TBOGT - GTA IV SAN ANDREAS" in normal game and mission markers are missing. confused.gif

@Frank.s: That's not Heron, the one you're thinking of.

Because after that Heron registered, Heron was still making accounts.

The weapon files that were updated don't work on EFLC. Time to change that. (Don't worry Im not putting the old ones back.)

Yea, I was wondering about that. I was thinking that Random added the flame thrower and it went in an EFLC weapon slot. Wonder what is up. Maybe he forgot a file.

 

But don't say this mod is dead. I hate that. I have a feeling we will come back and work on Beta 4. The people downloading it may be a reason.

 

Here is a motivational statement.

Remember how much this topic filled up when Beta 1 and Beta 2 came out? I think we should start recruiting some new members. We can ask:

-Anyone on Vice City Rage team.

-Anyone on GTA III Rage team.

-Ghostown team.

-Stilldre

-Hbx84

-Mount Clockwork team

-Criminal Russia team

 

Plenty of people that may be willing to help.

Well I would like to help with it. He doesn't want to support EFLC though. If I knew what it was, I'd be able to find something else to do.

 

I could just do screen shots, I could work on the map (Stilldre posted a nice tutorial on youtube I can use), and I might even be able to help with scripting.

 

Edit: Spawned a Stunt Plane with the trainer. After getting board of flying it, I landed and got into a car. When I left the airport I noticed that there were peds spawning in them on the streets, but they would just sit there. I've heard that flying cars driving makes you crash, but I think thats on MP only. I think there is something in the vehicles.ide thats causing this. The plane could have a name of one of the cars that spawn.

 

Edit: Just looked. Nothing wrong. Ive noticed when you add planes, this bug seems to be random. I don't know what causes it, and Ive had it before when I have added planes in the past. However in the past, I crashed shortly after, but my game still works. Before it was the normal LC. Maybe that might make a difference. Maybe the combo of a plane spawning in traffic and a path parameter used in LC's paths caused it (as IV:SA paths don't use all the special parameters, such as one way streets).

There is a simple way to prevent spawning of planes in the streets, by vehicles.ide line which controls the density of this particular vehicle.

Its Frq and MaxNum, the two values right between the anim2 value and rim size. Set them to 0,1. Additionally (or alternatively), a script can be used.

I talked about how often, not where and in what combination in random traffic. Thats what cargrp does. Or did you see any number in cargrp.dat which says how often it is spawned?

 

Even if you do not enter a veh into the cargroup at all, it will appear once you drive it. Vehicles.ide controls that overall appearance in frequency and maximum number. Set it to 0, and it won't appear if you drive it or not. Guess why its called frequency and max num. wink.gif

 

Example:

 

romero, romero, car, ROMERO, ROMERO, [email protected], NULL, 10, 1,

rom, rom, car, ROMAN, ALBANY, [email protected], [email protected]_XX_RI1, 1, 0,

 

 

Romans cab ain't even in the original cargrp.

I don't think that the count is in vehicles.ide

 

What vehicle.ide is for is the definition of the vehicle type, name, name for textures(vehshare), animations, extra parts and such. Basically all core definition of behavour for the vehicles is defined in this file, the cargrp stores the appearance value, and probably their count. If it's not that i don't see it being anything else

 

Looking a bit harder into the cargrp, you can see that same vehicles appeare more then once, so that also affects the count

Why so ignorant.. read the vehicles line description as given by Rockstar and test it! You will immediately see it works. It definitely IS the frequency and max number of that vehicle given in those two values of the line..just like R* says in the file.

Changed rom (Romans Taxi) to 100, 999, and see what happens immediately:

Change it back to 0,1, and no Romans Taxi anywhere. Cargrp.dat is only for the popcycles, where it appears and in which groups (cops, workers, hookers, pimps, whatever).

# description: For each type of ped (worker, clubber etc) we maintain a list of the cars they might drive.

# This list is used to pick cars in a very similar way we pick peds.

Even add-on'ed vehicles, which are not listed in the cargrp.dat, are ALWAYS appearing in traffic if you do not enter the 0,1 in the vehicles line.

 

I can't believe you guys do not know that. No offense, but thats pretty basic O_o

I wouldn't say so. If I'm correct were still most likely releasing it in August. Some of the members are helping out with III Rage Classic.

 

Some are doing a mystery project.

How many Brazilian fans we have here? I see alot of Brazilian people around here these weeks. I follow alot of Brazilian GTA Pages (I used to follow Orkut's GTA Brasil but i stopped using Orkut so i only use Facebook now, i normally see ''Grand Theft Auto 5 - F.C'' page)

 

By the way, i really dont want to see boring people here, even if we dont have anything to announce, lets just not make it looks like its abandoned. What about making more random streams or something?
