I vote Beta 2 .

Look at your pics , realistic timecyc but not closer to SA one . And also vege are aliased .

My pics : Awesome timecyc and really closer to SA . Vegetation are anti-aliased .

I vote for beta 2 same reason as garju. This was a conversion of SA to Rage engine not a SA HD version which is the same as gta 5.

Beta 2 in shaders looks more great.And shiny road not depend on this tounge.gif But trees looks better on beta 3

I think one of the big things that need to be improved in this mod is the traffic. Normal streets are fine, but sometimes peds get confused and drive off the road or into eachother. Highways aren't working like they are supposed to and drivers get confused on highway exits. You'll see cars floating or in the middle of nowhere a lot. This probably won't be fixed due to the crumbling development team but I wish you the best.

IT is not honestly!!!!!We compare beta2 and beta 3 shaders not models and not trees and not smoothing on the grounf -only timecyc-u made screens of different betas.Is necessary make beta 3 with betya 2 timecyc and beta 3 with beta 3 timecyc.

it's tough to say, beta 2, looks more like gta SA, and beta 3 is gorgeous.

may be an option to choose between timecyc/veg beta 2 and timecyc/veg beta 3 , would be good, and make common for models .

Everything about Beta 3 looks better. Beta 2 looks overexposed and there isn't enough contrast in the lighting. The only thing I don't like about beta 3 is that the lamps seem far too powerful and orange.

The fallout of light on the ground looks much better in this picture, but the lightsprite is still quite large for a lamp. However, they look much better than they do in the other beta 3 screens smile.gif

he's is a notorious thief and pbm, not surprised he did that with the vid

 

 

On Topic: I've improved the CJ player models. The original wrists looked crappy and there was a gap between the torso and jeans, all fixed now.

 

 

@Team, Should i just upload it to replace the files inside the cj.rpf that's in the "3" folder or do you guys want some sort of testing before editing those files?

Also, should i upload the latest script.img + map additions that i have made right now? Edit: Ok, @msn chat, will do.

Actually, he does.

 

But because of the location of the face bones, it doesn't look good with Niko's facial animations and probably won't ever unless gims/openiv supports moving bones (which they currently don't).

At the moment CJ's face is rigged for facial expression anims but i'm wondering if it's better to simply rig it without facial animations so that CJ's face looks like the real CJ instead of some sort of hideous monster. tounge.gif

(the rigging has a part in that, but even if the face rigging was improved there would still be bugs caused by the location of the face bones)

 

Edit: Latest CJ + Script + new map i modeled files are uploaded to db, gonna see if i can post piccies.

no need to quote the whole post, do you know what the fast reply function is?

There have been multiple gtaf previously banned members named heron, you seemed like another duplicate account made by the pbm.
