I got a problem! When i click on installer i got Program Stopped Working error. What is that?

maybe you could try to run installer as administrator

hmm ive seen alot of talking that paths arent sofar in this mod but then i see cars in the road in the background of garjus last pic. so you have partial paths for peds?

Ped and car paths are not the same format.

and i was stupid enough to think that peds paths were in same files as car paths tounge.gifbiggrin.gif

My guess is its in ether paths.img, navgen_script.img, or navmeshes.img. One of those files I ported to original in EFLC Map Updates to IV, and it stoped the peds from walking into the rail outside Bahama Mammas, and instead they walked down the stairs. However one of the files, might be navgen_script.img that controls GPS.

first one are general paths for peds, animviewer are boat (vehicle paths for PEDS)

Too much awesomeness... The few latest screens will push me to reinstall IV when you'll release the next beta! But my res is the new 16/9 standard, 1366x768, btw.

Loving that bottom screenshot. It makes the cities look like their full of life and the country look like its quiet

 

However I think the redness on the night sky should be toned down a little bit. Hopefully we can use timecycmodifiers some time so we can make the nights look darker in the country, and show the light pollution in the citys. It would make it even better. Kinda like how in IV LC when your in the city, you can tell their is light pollution making the lighting look different.

the darkness looks enough dark for me, unless you want to see only 10 meters forward as you drive in country roads.

I wouldn't make the country side any darker, it's already hard to race at night in mp races.

I know. It doesn't need to be darker. I think the sky in the country side should look less light polluted. In IV's map at night you can see moon light when you move away from the city. The city has timecyc modifiers on it to make the light pollution show.

 

Edit: Have you guys seen this robot of cars? There is a script like this for PC. Anyways the way the cars move, is kinda like each one is towing the other. A script like this might be a possible solution for the train so we can have multiple models.

Solution to the train might be this

basically it's using one vehicle as a trailer and one as a truck

That's some nice work there man. I'm hoping we can find a way to get the Episode sounds in IV so it will open up more sound effects for us to replace. Maybe we simply need a script to force the game to read the xml files for the audio.

can you take an image of the Santa Maria Boardwalk and another of The Vegas Strip from a tilted birds eye view in 1600 x 900 pixels?
