Here are the specs on the computer I am looking at, will these work? Hopefully it will run GTA IV, at least with the settings set to low (and maybe a downgrade patch) and other video games. Let me know me know the following if I need to change 1. the minimum memory 2. A recommended Processor 3. A recommended Video card (try to narrow it down with some specific cards it possible). I really hope this makes a good gaming computer because its at a good price.

Intel® Core i5-2320

Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64-bit)

8GB DDR3-1333 RAM

2TB 5,400RPM Hard Drive

SuperMulti DVD±RW Drive

Multi-In-One Memory Card Reader

Intel® HD Graphics 2000

10/100/1000 Network

802.11b/g/n Wireless

Display Not Included

I won't call that a gaming computer, at least not without a decent video card. Decide the max amount that you're willing to spend and post it here so that we can recommend you an appropriate video card.

Intel i5 with sh*tty Intel graphics, man what a waste. Yeah you really ought a look into buying a dedicated gpu for your system otherwise should run fine on lowest.

I don't expect to get a top of the line computer with this, but I was looking around $500-$600. I'll go up to $700 and I'd hate to go over but I'll pay more than that if I have to. What card could I get with up to $600? I've heard the Raedon Hd series works and the Nvidia GT, GTS, and GTX series work. What else should I look at according to my budget.

friendly luggage

If you don't want to build your own computer I suppose you would be better of buying a dell or hp etc. Just make sure you have atleast a second generation intel chip (these end in like 2300, 2600 etc, first gen end in 560 etc). In terms of ram 4GB will be good for general gaming and web browsing. Graphics cards wise you atleast want ati 6670 or above or nvidia 550 ti or above.

September 4, 2011 is pretty new to me. plus 3.3 ghz in sandy bridge sounds good also.

add a videocard with 112 shader processing cores or better and a power supply that can handle it, should run GTA IV @ 1280x1024 at high settings
