arsenal_fan
I held it in when I heard dubstep start playing. I held it in when I saw Woods was alive. I even held it in when I saw the ridiculous technology that could not possibly exist by 2025. Then I saw the horses and I just couldn't keep from laughing my ass off. I give Treyarch credit for trying to do something different, but holy sh*t that whole thing was laughable. I also laughed at the horse riding among a futuristic war with robots, might get this game and play Benny Hill music full blast while playing it, could be good for a laugh. Creed Bratton
This is the most embarrassing CoD interview to date. He doesn't even know how to properly lie about it. He just goes on an on about pushing the boundaries, 3 games in one, epic story branching etc. No one gives a sh*t about the story. We all know it's gonna suck. People buy CoD for MP and you all know it, so why even bother talking about 4 hour campaign?
Moth
No one gives a sh*t about the story. We all know it's gonna suck. But there are people that do care about the story. Hell COD started out as a story driven game. And this might be the return to that. Also, lets wait and see before we call the story sh*t. Finn 7 five 11
The horseback bit is supposed to be during the 1980s. Oh, i thought the horseback part was because all the technology was controlled by the enemy.
KilnerLUFC
Yes! Now THIS game looks awesome! I'll gladly play this instead of max Lame 3. Oh, so you're Zee...now I understand... The worst thing seems to be the inconsistency within the game - where in a futuristic world, people are still driving around in people carriers from before the year 2000. It seems like they're trying to fit everything from every other game/book/film in to one game, and don't realise how stupid it looks at the moment. mrpain
Just saw this for the first time. Woah, I may have never been a big fan of the CoD series, well love the World War II games, but this is just laughable. What the f*ck did I just watched?

Hell COD started out as a story driven game. And this might be the return to that. Really, the original CODs basically ripped off the famous scenes from Saving Private Ryan. It was never that great. Oh god seriously are you attempting to be a moron or have you actually never played the games? Medal of Honor Allied Assault featured a COUPLE of missions that were pretty much based off Saving Private Ryan scenes (the most recognisable and memorable one being the Omaha Beach landing). Call of Duty AND the Expansion United Offensive were heavily based on Band of Brothers concerning the missions (and actually units). Not to mention the awesome multiplayer map Carentan. Next time when making statements do your research or do it about stuff you know something about. And it was great... it had heart. Which CoD4 and onwards didn't have concerning singleplayer. They just got inspired by Generation Kill and think they ought to pull off the same level of awesomeness that Gen Kill has by overusing some of the slang/military lingo. I want more Warfighter footage... don't care if the subtitel of the new medal of honor is kind of uninspired.
PreciousWall
i'll be honest Black Ops series has great stories it has potential to be great game but sadly Activision forced Treyarch to use "Call of duty" as a label and forcing to finish the game in 2 years
Menaced
Even though I hate future-based games, this one seems a lot more appealing to me than the first Black Ops.
SchizNitz
I am completely confused how people, even the one's who hated other CoD's, say that this looks good. I mean seriously, the graphics are bad enough to make me puke. I admit that I used to play and like CoD, but then I realised how horrible it was. The only thing that changes in CoD is the campaign, which appears to get shorter with each entry in the series, ell I wouldn't be surprised if you could finish BO 2 within an hour. Then there is multiplayer, which maybe addictive, but with each CoD all that changes in multiplayer is the perks (though only slightly), maps (which are usually tiny) and kill streaks (only slightly, again). The graphics barely even change at all, all that changes is the textures, which have been done horribly. Lastly the engine hasn't even changed at all! -_-
Creed Bratton
I would be all over CoD if they treated PC with some respect. And by that I mean FOV slider, free dedicated servers and mod support. Basically if they do what they did with CoD 1, 2 and 4. CoD isn't a bad series, it just has terrible PC support.
Toup
It was never that great. If that wasn't great then what is great in this series?
Doland J. Trump
If this COD has an actual good story and a good amount of campaign game hours (15-20 hours) i might get it. Never have like the series after COD 3, to me thats where it died it felt real and authentic and it felt like people actually put work into it not just copied and pasted the same game year after year and added small new features. SadisticOtters
Yea, yea, COD 3 was the best and now the series suck How many times are we going to go over this? The complaints are more repetitive than the series.
Simon_V
Black Ops is the best in the series. Great Campaign and Zombies, what do u need more from a Call Of Duty game. Can't wait for Black Ops II. Hope the story is at least 8-10hours long and I hope the Zombie Mode has 4 player Split-Screen, not 2 player.
John The Grudge
If it has all the fun multi-player modes that Black Ops had then I may get this. Plus Treyarch don't include boosting and quick-scoping so that's a bonus. Also Zombies and whatever else they cram in there. They give you your moneys worth. We'll see. I'm a little bored with the series now. Yet I always succumb.
Brown Sugar
I just can't help but feel that they would have been way better off to make black ops 2 set just after the first black ops game to tell us what happened after blck ops and save this setting for the third black ops game. I'm doubt many people would agree but to be honest, I much preferred the story in the first black ops to the multiplayer.
OchyGTA
I see quite a lot of people saying this is "a bold new COD" or "they are being innovative" but these people fail to see that this will just be same old COD with a new lick of paint. Innovative would be creating a new engine, updating the physics, creating brand new game modes and developing a story that isn't over in 5-6 hours. Until I see any evidence of this (the first two have been shown not to be happening), then I will have no interest in purchasing this game. E: Then again it does have zombies........... *runs to Treyarch studio with wallet in hand Edited May 2, 2012 by OchyGTA

Jake
What the f*ck was that sh*t? I've played these games since the classics. I hated that sh*t like Halo and other futuristic shooters. And now CoD, being the past and present shooters I've enjoyed for years is going down the pew pew robot path? They better pull something good out of their asses for multiplayer or this will be the first CoD I won't purchase. And I don't care about whatever strike force mode they were talking about. I don't care about zombies. Edited May 2, 2012 by Jake
Knife
I don't see why anyone cares if it's in the future. There'll be another modern day one next year, at least this year there's something a little different.
Edward-Is-A-Flunky45
This means... BO2 will be a kick ass game... But the technology scaries me.... see this new vid...
