MikeChase69
This might sound rude but this franchise lives on people like you, Who no matter what will eat up everything they put out.
Daz
I just watched the trailer. First of all, I havent seen anything funnier this entire year. Secondly, I cried laughing. Finally the visual nail in the coffin I have been waiting for, to make all the morons see how sh*t these games are. Have fun with COD this year. Nebby
How f*cking cheesy was that trailer? The voice acting was... bleh. Look's sort of fun... but I'm only going to pick this up to find out how the f*ck Woods is still alive...
Moth
Oh god some of those textures hahaha Yeah, the graphics don't seem to be on par with other games. But hey, that is what you have to do to get 60 FPS on the consoles. Formerly known as The General
ziggymank
Man, that was f*cking sick. I love Grand Theft Auto and I love TONS of other games, but Treyarch's COD games are just... wow. All you guys talk about is how CoD is the same thing every year, but... how can you look at that trailer and NOT call it innovative? Idiots. Yeah, I'm sure you all laughed your asses off at how sick that was. BTW, I'm not a CoD fanboy, I'm not a GTA fanboy, I'm not a fanboy of anything other than good games. Moth
but... how can you look at that trailer and NOT call it innovative? Idiots. Because it isn't? Nothing that was shown in the trailer was innovative. The only thing we can tell that has changed is the setting for the game, which they changed towards a more futuristic one. Wow they added robots, and? That really doesn't change gameplay, since we already had things extremely similar in function. The only thing they did was paint them in a futuristic paint! And this is coming from someone who likes the series and will most likely buy this one. Formerly known as The General
Finn 7 five 11
I wouldn't call it innovative, in a new direction yes, which is good, something new for the series.
Eagles
how can you look at that trailer and NOT call it innovative? Idiots. Innovative? Tell me one thing you saw in the trailer that you never saw before in any game. It's innovative for the whole CoD environment because they never made a CoD before settled in the future, but it's not innovative inside the whole video-game industry. Halo, Crysis, Battlefield 3 and many others FPS took place in a near future - 2025 is not so far, compared to other games -, so I don't see any new thing there. And I bet - it's kinda obvious, too - that the multiplayer will have the same style from all the other CoDs. Killstreaks, campers and grenade launchers. Nothing new. sublimelabs
I'd be okay with a futuristic Call of Duty if it was actually executed well. This trailer screams cheaply reproduced Deus Ex, Halo, and Metal Gear Solid. The voice-over bugs me more than anything. I can't believe how god-awful it is. Treyarch seriously couldn't find somebody other than a kid pretending to sound old?
Djdevin10
Oh that dude, i haven't played the story since November of 2010, so i forgot a majority of it. Ehh, i wonder if Masons alive IF he survived Operation Charybdis

B Rob
Well I for one am excited and I did not expect a futuristic game at all. All you haters talked about doing something different and here they are doing it.
Akavari
I just saw the reveal trailer on television and laughed at it. Looks weak, like some comic book spinoff of Battlefield 2142. My prediction for BO2 was that it would be in 1978 and follow the Russian invasion of Afghanistan; the same operation where Mason is taken down. From the looks of it, what with the horseback riding mujahedin-looking guys in the desert, there will just be a flashback mission to cover it. Oh well. R.I.P. Call of Duty

Sunrise Driver
Last thing that was keeping me interested in CoD is lost now - urban modern day setting. Bye then. The Treyarch titles have never been modern, the modern setting hasn't been 'lost' I'm sure it will be in the next IW/Sledghammer game. Well The whole 20 century and near future but without futuristic stuff is considered modern for me.
Pat
And it seems that the story will be about a cold war between China and the States. How the f*ck is it a Cold War if they are actively participating in a full-scale war against each other? Christ, Kotaku's writers seem less competent with every article they release. Well, it seems that China and the States are being forced towards a war by some guy named Martinez. Neither of the countries are in open conflict. Also, what are the chances of the Chinese being replaced by North Koreans? The Red Dawn Remake and Homefront both replaced them with the NK.
