herons2s2
When your mod is ready? I have problems with sunhaze that I can't fix. Searching for another way to make this. And I should end with timecyc, so, I don't know. I dunno, my PC is friendly with corona, but it doesn't support the lensflares effect in GTA SA. Try to beat the corona, if there'll not be any result, I'll use sunhaze as new FXP particle (like a fallback) trust you you will get I can not wait to get out new version I'm excited Edited November 25, 2011 by herons2s2

Would be cool in this mod if possible^^ Maybe. Maybe that's possible. Not long time ago, I've read some topic where some guys replaced car lights, moon textures right in script using new or other existing. I should find this topic. By the way, thx for reminding. TTDISA mod have a timecyc.dat that has been modified to look like on PS2. maybe you could ask Deezire to use some code from it But why? Already has been done quite a lot of work with this timecycle. Rokas.
Moon phases? I believe this has been achieved by Deji in his Vigilante Justice. yeah, but I think that only code should be used, his textures looks nothing like SA ones.
mcsim2401
yeah, but I think that only code should be used, his textures looks nothing like SA ones. No, should make 5-6 new textures of different moon phases. Or there'll not be any result. Edited November 26, 2011 by mcsim2401
aStiffSausage
But it wouldn't be hard, as long as you receive permission from Deji to use his mod, then just get a moon-texture and do a small edit on it, and done.

Wait with "take permission". It's at least, ok? The more so that work on the moon I'll start with the third version, and for first time I'll try to do it myself. Because I have right now a lot of problems with sunhaze that I should fix, and I should release mod as soon as I can. And so the more you take someone else work, your mod is slowly becoming at mod-bag (for now we'll stop only with ENB, ColorMod and SAGFX ie additinal graphics settings and effects). I'm starting with the most visible and notional differences. Edited November 26, 2011 by mcsim2401

Jacko427
How come there is lighting on characters and interior with PS2 timecyc and there is no character and interior lighting on PC timecyc? I opened 2 times EditSA Timcecyc and opened two timecyc files. One opened the PC version and the other opened the PS2 version. The weather colors are identical to each other. I've added index manually (open my timecyc.dat by notepad and look on the end of every string, you'll see "1.00" everywhere - it's a value of lighting that unused by R* in PC version because of low PCs). Weather colors has not been changed, that's right, they must be same. By the way, sunhaze better make letter, on last time, i think, to not delay the overall development. Jacko427
f*ck yeah, I did it! Now there is lighting for vehicles and character! I made some comparison between the lighting on both PC versions of timecycs: I choose for a darker interior to not have false comparison. Screenshots are taken at the exact time and weather. PC version with the lighting support: And now without the lighting: You can see clearly how the lighting makes the PC version better. Interiors and wheels/rims looks much better and not that too low darkish quality like the original PC timecyc. @herons2s2 and other who wants the lighting for PC timecyc: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ojihkm Enjoy EDIT. I want to go further to edit the PS2 version. Does anyone have good screenshots of PS2 SA skies? I see some of the posts the sky doesn't look exactly like from PS2. So I want to look what I can do, maybe by editing the timecyc or colormod. @mcsim, may I help you? You already have lots of things to do and to fix, so you might have a helping hand. Some people keep saying the sky doesn't look like from the real PS2. Don't if that's true or it must be my display. So I need really good PS2 SA screenshots, then I get idea what to fix or what to do. Is that what you mean or are you talking about other mods? And thanks btw EDIT, changed the mod a bit, the PS2 ones seems to looked a bit blurred. So added the blur too on last 4 screenshots. œaœa
Sun Haze More Sun Haze (Not as powerful as people make it out to be) Notice the car reflection with (i think) the sky. mcsim2401
what ever happened to the old SA PS2 Graphics project? You mean mine? All thios time I was making sunhaze, so now there is a no result. The sky don't need any editing, I just should make it a bit darker in a daytime (by 0.6-0.8X) EDIT: No, it's looks g*y and don't similar. Maybe add some greyish and then make it darker. Grayish usually gives the sky color more sensitive to be changed by color correction. Sun Haze See lower. More Sun Haze (Not as powerful as people make it out to be) It haves a different sizes. From 5:00-7:00 and 17:00-19:00 - it's large and big, from 7:00-19:00 - it's small, visible only is player look at it. By the way, that's what I thought might make a few sunhaze scripts, but let each responsible for a certain time. Notice the car reflection with (i think) the sky. This can be enbaled with Dexx's sag_fx DexX made a different version - SAGFX_PS2. It's 100% same with PS2, but it's bad that this is not configurable and looks too bright. Blue sky is darker in PS2 version Make a comparsion of original pic from PlayStation2 and from PSX2. PSX2 don't read color correction even from timecycle file, that why everything looks darker and the sky so blue. That's seen on all your pics. If set all alpha of CC on PCs timecycle to "0" too - we'll take the same result as on PSX2. That certain "fog" effect to make up for bad draw distance 0.1-version have it. To get the fog effect we shold make Draw Distance lower by 2X. Example: PCs EXTRASUNNY_LA haves draw distance: 800.00, fog start distance: 100.00 = No foggish effect. My Example: EXTRASUNNY_LA haves draw distance: 400.00, fog start distance: 100.00 = The same foggish effect. Just look at this comparsion picture of 0.1 WIP - all the same as PS2: And there showed a sky problem ie PS2 sky more amenable to color correction. And by the way, I've said right below. I should make to the skies the reverse process than I've made with color correction ie I should add some grey color to the sky and make it darker. (CC: deleted all grayish and a color made more bright) Sun flare The same thing, but there sun looks a bit different, like with "coronaeffect" texture. --------------- -------------------- Signature Disabled. F**k, why other can advertise their mods than I can't? Edited November 27, 2011 by mcsim2401
