Wolf68k
Like I said, since you're apparently not ready to buy it all now then just wait. How long will it be until you are fully ready, that is when you have all of the money?
Cartman28279
Umm, maybe a month or two , but maybe even before... Im not really sure when I'll get all the money, but I hope it pretty soon.
Cartman28279
Hey everyone, I pretty much have all the money now, but could someone help me find another Mobo, because the one Wolf posted awhile ago on the first page is currently out of stock. And if somebody can, could you find the same exact one on another site for about the same price or cheaper? But if for some reason no one can find the same one, then is there on that is just as good or better for around the same price, and will work with the parts im getting and my current setup? Thanks! Cartman28279
Hey everyone, hopefully this will be my last question on this thread. But yeah, I just wanted to know which I should get between these two Processors? Because I can buy either one. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115073 Or.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819116504
Wolf68k
Get the Ivy Bridge. Even for just the CPU side of things it'll perform better than the 2500.
yoječ
If you plan to overclock, there won't be much difference between these two (i5-2500k and i5-3570k that is).
Wolf68k
@yojo True, to a point. However he didn't link to a i5-2500K, it's a plain 2500.
Cartman28279
Ok,I think I might go withe the Ivy Bridge then. And I have another question as well, is there any faster GFX cards that would work with my parts I'm going to get, or is there any other cards that are comparable to Powercolor Radeon HD 6850? Thanks. Edited July 15, 2012 by Cartman28279

xI Jakk Ix
You could get the 7850 but it is £100 more expensive in the UK than the 6850, so I'm sure it will be a bit more expensive in the US too. If you're looking for a card around the price of 6850, then I suggest the 6870 (if you can stretch to it) or the 7770, which is slightly worse but has less power consumption and uses more recent technology. Overall I would go with the 6850 as it's the best for the price.
luceberg
Imo, the first thing you should buy is a better psu. Something from seasonic, corsair, antec or the like about 550watt should suffice. Then you wont be limited for gpu choice.
Cartman28279
Thanks for replying. And btw, I found a great deal on a 6870 so should I go with that or the 6850? Because it doesn't matter which one I get. And it would work well with my setup then? @luceberg I think I'll just wait to get a better PSU because I won't have enough at the moment. xI Jakk Ix
If you found a great deal on the 6870, then I say go for that, since it's obviously better than than the 6850. A bit of extra good performance never hurts.
