I Hope There Is Realistic Steak in the Game!

No. Real steak is a proper cut of meat. Not this reconstituted crap. Mincing something and forming it isn't a proper steak. So burgers or anything burger-like are not steaks, not even if they have been made out of steak that has been minced.

 

A proper steak hasn't been messed around with. It's been sliced from the cut, trimmed a bit if necessary and popped on a searing hot griddle for a couple of minutes each side (rare). Gorgeous.

 

I don't even want my steaks to have been beaten to supposedly tenderise them. If the cut of meat is good enough, it doesn't need that.

This thread needs to go into the GTAForums Hall Of Fame! With all the discussion about realistic steak and the joys of eating it in-game, the topic of what happens after the character fully digests the steak also needs to be discussed in this thread for realism purposes, although not as in-depth as eating in-game steak. If realistic steak is confirmed, this will be the single greatest feature in Grand Theft Auto history, and will significantly boost GTAV sales.

I'm holding out for the GTAV Realistic Steak Special Edition, which will come with a full-course 24-oz steak dinner, in a tin box with the game disk and poster/map.

 

I plan to grab this special edition at the GTAV midnight sale. If I wait a week, not only might it sell out, it probably also will smell out.

Based on the enduring fan popularity and extreme importance to the fanbase of this holy subject, Rockstar has decided to dedicate the entire GTAV game to Realistic Steak. Rockstar North artists are working overtime right now, replacing every texture in the game with steak textures. GTAV will consist of steak buildings, steak roads, steak countryside, steak people and steak sky. You can have any DLC you want as long as it's steak.

 

And then there's this classic, which will be a cutscene in GTAV:

 

Scene: A cafe. One table is occupied by a group of Vikings wearing horned helmets. Whenever the word "steak" is repeated, they begin singing and/or chanting. A man and his wife enter.

 

Man: You sit here, dear.

Wife: All right.

Man: Morning!

Waitress: Morning!

Man: Well, what've you got?

I know, it is just absurd. Steak truly is the obvious strength that GTA V will have when comparing it to other games of it's time. AFAIK no other games that are planned for the time include steak, not even a pot of gravy to be seen.
