Slamman
This is what I call the GREATEST unearthing of info that ROCKSTAR has not let on about .....YET, to me, it seems the best "leak" I believe Ned Luke is in the game, that much at least. SmoothGetaway
I don't know if this has been brought up before but its possible that there are 3 protags in GTAV; IE GTA4, TLAD, TBOGT and that the 3 most prominent characters in trailer 1 are protags for Vanilla V and DLC. I still think the voice is Ned Luke and that he's the most likely protag for V.
senor_huevos_benedicto
I think he'll be a boss who at some point tells you his story, not the main protagonist. I'm rooting for the guy in the red car wearing the white vest checking out the hot ass.
Snake Without a Tongue
I wonder what would happen if Ned Luke wasn't the voice. I imagine people's heads exploding. It really would be shocking. I remember during the craze in the lead up to IV people were misidentifying Michael Hollick, posting some old guy's picture. Afterward, Michael Hollick actually said he was annoyed that couldn't be credited before the game's release.
Vice Beach
Old Ned's twitter was briefly public about a week ago and I skimmed it. Nothing related to GTA or Rockstar, just a joke about how kids play too much Xbox as opposed to actually playing outdoors. It's since then been locked and it seems he's deleted people he doesn't know from following him. Doesn't allow you to view his followers, or people he follows. The mystery continues. Braindawg
The hispanic guy and "Ned" are both playable IMO. One of 'em just gonna end up being the DLC character. Just like Johnny and Luis.

Yeah, I noticed all that too. I was following him and he booted me. No way would a celebrity do that unless they got handed the smack down. He's definitely "The Guy". No, there was an interview with Dan Houser 1 year ago with Gamasutra. And Houser stated they don't wanna make such a big DLC like TBoGT and TLaD anymore, because the sales were kinda dissapointing . So we can pretty much scrape that option out. That means 3 or 4 protags in the game with different storylines.
Vice Beach
Yup, Any normal struggling actor would gladly welcome some followers. His twitter doesn't even allow you to request to follow him. The only explanation is he's being covered by R*'s Internet blanket. I would have loved to see one of the Housers face when someone reported to them that a fan forum had uncovered their super lowkey unknown protagonist the same month the trailer released

In the age of DLC with nearly every other current game (including Rockstar ones) getting DLC, there will definitely be content for GTA V in my opinion. I think the Hispanic guy is just a pedestrian (Previous GTA games have used recurring peds, it's not unlikely to see him more than once, it's an early build of the game) I think Ned Luke is the main story character. He appears 3-4 times in the trailer doing stuff only the protagonist can do.. like picking up girls from the street, getting chased by cops, driving a van to a mission location (bank robbey scene) dont tell me a random will do all of this in a trailer

Your hispanic stops at a red light (seriously, STOPPING at a RED LIGHT) and rev up the engine like a jackass to a random girl passing by and she ignores him. 2. Pedestrians could be chased by the cops in previous GTA games, also, that black guy at the ending appears to have attracted a lot more police attention than the Hispanic guy did. 3. There have been missions in previous games where the protag doesn't drive, also, he may have changed seats and didn't even drive there (we only see the van stopped and the Ned Luke guy already out the van, we don't see the van arriving or Ned Luke getting out). Also, your Hispanic guy stays in the background doing nothing while his partners go rob a jewelry. While he's definitely not just a random ped, he's definitely not a protag either. I know it happend in GTA IV, but why would they show a normal ped or a stupid unimportant character getting chased by cops in a trailer 3- but in 99.9% of missions the protagonist is the one who drive.. and yes the hispanic does actually appear in the bank roberry scene driving the van, look for yourself

Fair enough, looked like a pretty boring scene about no one important though. 2. I remember it happening in a GTA IV trailer as well (though I may be misremembering), and in GTA SA gameplay it could happen too, also, are you just going to ignore the black guy at the ending who has way more pigs chasing him than your Hispanic guy does? 3. I never said it wasn't possible to see him, just that he's in the background and we never see him driving, just sitting in the driver's seat which he could have changed to after the van arrived, while most missions the protag drives my point still stands that the protag doesn't always drive, this could be one of those missions (if the Hispanic guy did indeed drive there which may not have happened). EncryptedReality
They probably had the plan prior to this scene in the trailer to drive over to Rodeo Drive disguised as exterminator workers, and then suddenly rush in unnoticed to rob that bank or jewelry store. He is the same the hispanic man that was driving the red car earlier in the tariler, its just a less detailed/eariler version of him, its probably from an earlier version of the game
