Stralia Day tomorrow lads.

But seriously, I think this year I'll be switching to Triple M's Big Day In, the last few years of the Hottest 100 have been absolute rubbish. I still voted anyway haha, Bloodstone and Diamonds was an impeccable album, as was Once More Round the Sun.

Anyone else vote?

Anyone here know the current QLD p plater laws.

I have held my reds for well over a year now and haven't gone onto my greens, was wondering if I would need to be on my greens for two years still or if a total of 3 years on p plates was all that's required. I couldn't find a good answer anywhere

It differs depending on your age. I think this answers your question,

But trust me, upgrading to your Green P's (P2) is worth it.

I'm guessing P Plates are equivalent to learners permits here in America?

Nope, we have a learners permit that we can get at the age of 16. Drive for 120 hours and turn 18, the you can get your P1 (red) plates. Drive a bit more and before you know it you'll be 19 and able to get you P2 (green) plates. All three have different laws and requirements. L plates are actually more lenient because an L plater must have a full-license holder in the car with them at all times, but both P1 and P2 platers can drive on their own, and hence is more at danger.

Well in the ACT you get learners at 15 - 9 months. Then you can do lessons with a driver without a test (as you go checklist) and you'll get your P plates that way provided you are over 17, or get 50 hours worth of driving and do a one off test.

P plates in Canberra you have for three years, after the first 6 months you attend a course for a few hours, discuss driving with other drivers, then you get an extra four demerit points and no longer have to wear your P plates, unless you choose to.

Sounds like a way better system than qlds, the 120 hours is stupid, I only had to do 100, but wtf is it good for people need to do defensive driving courses so that when sh*t hits the fan they don't do the teenage girl (close eyes scream and take hands off steering wheel) I've had that happen while I was in the passenger seat in the wet, told the dumb bitch to slow down but noooo "I know how to drive, don't tell me how to drive" nek minnut a semi sharp off camber sweeping right comes up and she puts us into a slide, slams on the brakes and closes her eyes and let's go of the wheel... Goodbye both left hand wheels, got out looked at her car and she goes omg is there any damage and I couldn't help it I pissed my self laughing and said you're a f*cking idiot and your cars f*cked.

She even tried to get me to cover her ass to her dad and the police, not a chance.

Had a great night, got some close friends together around 5pm, about 15 all up and barbequed, finished the hot 100, went to a pub, got extremely hammered together with nobody else there, argued with some wannabe tough guy outside the pub saying he'd fight us, then all walked home haha, a good, relaxed evening.

According to the counting so far, Campell Newman has lost his seat in the QLD election.

^^ It's confirmed, Cambell Newman has lost his seat and resigned, and Labor now holds 45 seats, meaning Palaziack (I think that's how you spell it) is the new Premier.

One less Libtard to worry about.

I wonder what the result will be in NSW, in a couple months time. Will the Baird Government be a one-termer as well?

I hope not. The Baird Coalition government is actually pretty competent.
