GTA V Beta Version

I'm sure they gonna delete a few things. Like the rooftop that can come down.

I don't think they'll remove that, it seemed like it worked without a hitch, and they had a whole scene dedicated to showing it, or so it seemed.

 

I said final, yeah beta always has niftily little things in it, but I believe most of them get removed for the better, and the final is bound to have fewer bugs, but if those cool things from the beta can make it in, without bugs then I'd say beta all the way.

Maybe they cut the Pizza boy missions since they didn't have time to clean up the glitches for that side mission along with the other things that were cut.

Not saying the beta doesn't have better qualities than the final game, I just was thinking that the beta would have been too glitched or choppy in game play for the level of quality of the GTA franchise.

I see so many people complaining about things being removed in final versions. What they don't realize is that if something was removed, there was a reason for it. Maybe it was taking too much time to work out glitches or perfect the coding for a certain feature. Maybe it was removed and replaced with something better instead. Developers don't look at games and say "Oh, that's a cool feature. Let's take it out of the game."

Still, those kinds of things from beta San Andreas weren't so stupid:

* Each city had its own motorcycle cop model, whereas in the final release the same model is used for all cities (The beta cop models can still be found on the game´s files)

* Pharmacies from Vice City was originally included in-games were you can buy health and adrenaline.

* Hardware Stores was originally included in-games, and you can buy tools (like in Vice City).

+ 100 cool features deleted from the game.

 

Why, Rockstar, why?

The hardware store in Vice City was sorta pointless.

 

They make the cuts for a reason, or else they would leave them in the game.

I remember playing Things To Do In San Andreas, a mod by Deezire which brings back some deleted stuff in-game. Not all of them though, obviously. It was quite fun, albeit unstable. Many missions and dialogs that would otherwise add to the game atmosphere were removed, but the remnants remained in the game files.

 

The reason why Rockstar would cut these missions and features are unknown. Disk space, maybe?
