cartman3591
the song in lincoln lawyer's intro. seems fitting since LS is based on LA. basically throw some good soul music in the game and i'll be a happy camper on top of that, classic rock & country for cruising on the countryside and gangsta rap for cruising through the ghetto

Restelo94
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_Y3jg-R1t4 I think this would really capture the whole chasing after money theme, it's a good sad song- maybe for an alt rock station? Although maybe they should change it from Hollywood to Vinewood, as well as the street names *Edit* - Can someone tell me how to embed it? I don't know how Edited November 19, 2011 by Restelo94

bugoy
anime music FM 72.0 please A big no. I'm an anime fan myself, but wouldn't R* be expected to PAY those animation studios MILLIONS for using their COPYRIGHTED music in GTA V? You're gonna have to resort to uploading user tracks (if there would be an option). It's like that, and that's the way it is.

Cheat
Red Hot Chili Peppers is a band that should definitely have a song or two in the soundtrack, and these two came to my mind really quickly. These songs would both fit V perfectly. Under The Bridge is less energetic and stuff, I admit, but just imagine driving down Mulholland Drive or Santa Monica Beach in the sunset and listening to a song like this, a beautifully vibrant tribute to the City Of Angels. As for Dani California, it's funky, rocky and a perfect tune to bump, driving down a highway in California at the speed of life. As far as rap goes, Los Angeles and California open a billion doors - a huge amount of rap's biggest names come from the West and the whole world knows about Cali's rap scene, from the 80s with N.W.A to the 90s when rap became phenomenal and broke through, all the way to the knowledge of the mainstream, the big names have always been from NY or L.A. I almost demand for California Love, Who Am I or any other westside classic to be on the soundtrack, but the newer generations also have their gems, Young Dre's I Love LA being a great example. Mainstream or not, another genre that California and the West Coast deserves to be famous for is punk - names like Green Day, Rancid and The Offspring that helped punk make it's way to the masses and less mainstream artists like NOFX, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Dead Kennedys and Bad Religion all originate from California, so expect to hear Cali punk in V. Jimmy_Leppard
I'm assuming most people are gonna want rock/classic rock. Unfortunately. Unfortunately? Sorry, but I feel it's my duty to answer to this kind of ridiculous comments. I assume you would like your rap sh*t or maybe some techno/electro sh*t, right? Please..
