Driver came out before GTA 3 and it was 3d. So... Saints row 3 looks great and i would by it anyways even if gta 5 came out tomorrow. Ive been wanting SR3 since i played SR2 in 2008. I looks bad a**. A dildo bat? Apocafists? The ability to bust out in air guitar riffs? This game screams stupid and it is so goddamn irritating to me that people lap this insanely ridiculous crap up. It tries way to f*cking hard and in the process it makes itself look dumb. No thanks. You can have your "over the top" (They claim that; I claim it's retarded) game. I will pass on the junk. I have ZERO desire to bust out into random dance and guitar riffs. I have no desire to dress outrageously and run around with a dildo bat. I have no desire to adjust the size of my dick. Seriously. SR is a decent and entertaining franchise, why would anyone feel the need to bash it simply because of GTA is beyond me. I STILL love GTA most of all, and i don't think SR comes close in terms of quality or entertainment. Just MY personal opinion. However, they DO provide a different take on the sandbox genre, and the more the merrier, i think. Competition is a good thing. I enjoy SR for what it is. The game just tries way too hard, and its end up coming across desperate and just unfunny. Dont get me wrong there were some laughs to be had in Sr2, but most of the time it falls way short.
