spiderman3000
The ONLY thing that gives me hope that it would be the whole of San Andreas is that the map would definetly not be surrounded by water(if they do only LS and the countryside). So how in the world are they going to prevent us from going out of the map and not seeing the other cities in San An(Since R* stated that the game is in the Southern California)? Forget the GTA:SA map. It's not simply relevant to GTA:V. It's an all new map which does not have to maintain any kind of canon with GTA:SA. They are not going to hold themselves back in the creative process by allowing themselves to be forced to comply with what we've seen in any previous game. GTA:SA was epic. I loved it. But it's done. You have to cut the ties in your mind when considering GTA:V.

r0eladn
Hav'nt read this thread at all, so i am just responding to the topic title. I am disappointed also, in particular with the graphics and silly looking cars. GTA:III ---> GTA:IV Big change(new console) GTA:IV ---> GTA:V Same console, no new graphics Does this means i wont be buying it? No. But they gotta have some new stuff to make up for the almost no progress in graphics.

"They are not going to hold themselves back in the creative process by allowing themselves to be forced to comply with what we've seen in any previous game" Instead they are holding themselves back by complying with a real world map of LA. That's how its looking right now to me.
