jakbim
There's so much I love about the trailer. Though there are a few things that are more remarkable than others. The music! Oh God, how R* have outdone themselves with this tune. I completely love it. Gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling about the city and the game as a whole. The narrative is also top notch! I can't wait to see the protagonist(s), though I feel that it might work best with only one guy. Off-topic: I don't think the old man is the one narrating the trailer, he's got a slight hispanic/latino tone to his voice, if you know what I'm sayin'. Love how the black guy in the red convertible revs his engine, then the girl walking across the street takes a look at him. Really hope the AI is this good, the reaction to peoples actions I mean. Also notice the scene at the beach with the joggers. The scene where the black guy gets chased by a couple of police-cars and a chopper, I hope the police are even smarter and more realistic this time around. My favorite moment over-all though, is the scene with the giant oil(?)-pump (says BRUTE on it). The view of the city, just wow! Breathtaking! That made me think, gosh, this game is going to be EPIC! Epic skyline, epic lighting, think it really captures the feel of how this game is gonna turn out. Check out the image below. (Sorry about the size, I don't have the slightest idea how to resize it.) Bomberlegend
I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but I did get a laugh from the jet ski being called a speedo phile. R* and their humor is gold.

Algonquin Assassin
As soon as it started. I remember I was still at my computer watching the countdown (I actually said 10, 9, 8 etc softly ) and as soon as it showed the beach I said "Los Santos". The music is indeed fantastic. I instantly fell in love with it. I also agree with you on the oil pump scene. They're actually called pumpjacks. You can also say nodding donkey, pumping unit, horsehead pump, beam pump, sucker rod pump, grasshopper pump, thirsty bird or jack pump.

I'll be sure to keep those names noted the next time I speak of a pumpjack, nodding donkey, pumping unit, horsehead pump, beam pump, sucker rod pump, grasshopper pump, thirsty bird or jack pump. As for the music part, I really hope they'll be as successful with the radio stations as in VC and SA. Those stations and songs were f*cking amazing. Great soundtrack to a great game. Of course, that had a lot to do with the games being set in the 80's and 90's, which were filled with awesome and iconic music. In the 4chan thread the supposed guy from R* said that they will include a lot of modern music, which doesn't surprise as the game is set in present day. Just hoping that they will include some classic stations as well! Music has always been a BIG deal in the GTA games.
Halo_Override
Whilst i loved the hiking/mountain scene, i think my favourite has to be the scene with the windfarm... For one you can just see how big the landscape seems to be, the graphics and detail on the windturbines (or whatever they're called) and the landscape aswell (like the dusttrail from the car driving on the sandy road) is just amazing... I mean look at the bolts on that windturbine... The detail! For Some reason i've just loved those spinning things ever since i first saw them in real life. I don't know why but they're just awesome, and i think that helps in me choosing this as my favourite scene. This, sweater guy passing the drug dealer, balcony man looking serious and dramatic, and the cityscape scene with the pump in the foreground. Those are the four highlights for me. Tipper
Quite a few in fact : -The shot of the city where you can see the traffic, the palm trees in the foreground and of course "ROCKSTAR GAMES PRESENTS" -The wind farm shot with "A ROCKSTAR NORTH PRODUCTION -The cropduster shot -The robbery (I love the way the music accelerates, and the moment the old guy kicks the door open) -The hobo shot, where he's surrounded by traffic, this shot has a real cinematographic feeling -The police chopper going lower during the chase (again, very cinematographic) And a couple of others, but just for the animation I found brilliant : -The girl crossing the street -The hookers shot -The house on sale

Darrel
-Speedophile is hilarious i will admit. And i have never used a jet ski in Grand theft auto so that will be fun - Wind turbine scene, its just lovely and shows the scale and the stunning visuals - Beach scene looks so warm and a great vibe - The gym muscle sands scene. Just sends my imagination running... like being able to jump over the railing and picking a fight with the moody bodybuilders.
Mute Giant
If i could pick two, I would pick the third scene: "rockstar games presents" and the first glimps of the city, and the "you know how it is" scene with the robbery. But if I can only pick one I will pick the latter. It is such a climax with the music and all. I started wondering where in the trailer I realized it was going to be set in Los Santos. I have never been to LA (except for in the airport) and so I am not sure if i really got the reference before the last Vinewood scene. Still I think I kinda knew before that since LA had been rumored prior to the trailer. How about you guys? when in the trailer did you know? TJtheS2000fan
Personally, my favorite scene was the Mountain. Just the vast beautifulness of the scene, looming in the background of the three hikers, the seeming promise of a giant game.
