Da_Lurker
I guess it's possible (Hardware-wise, it'll be possible) But I don't think it's gonna be available at the WiiU launch (unless Nintendo really did its homework and sent very early dev previews to R*). V's development must have started before there were a definite hardware for the console. Maybe at a latter date. For all we know, GTA could be released by Christmas 2012, on the other hand WiiU it's probably coming in the summer.
ThatBadAssMofo
No xbox 360 is better XBOX 360 came out in 2005. Thats debatable. Its debatable that the 360 came out in 2005?
Halo_Override
I don't see a big upside to Rockstar developing a Wii U GTA until the new console has been released and is established. The Wii U has one big issue -- the Wii was a huge success, a lot of people bought it, and most of those people don't use it much anymore, so they're not going to rush right out and buy the next generation. Especially since what opened the Wii up to a broad public was the easy learning curve of the motion control compared to the 360/PS3 controllers (which are intimidating to new gamers). The Wii U is moving back to a more sophisticated, "core gamer" configuration, and it might not catch fire in the market the same way the Wii did. So unless Nintendo are actively courting Rockstar (ie. paying them in some way, as Microsoft did with IV) to drive a console boost, I think it'll be a wait. (Plus, they're just as likely to do something different with the Wii U than a plain port of V, given the technical differences.)
TruXter
From what I see In a Previous poll thread It might be debatable. but it does seem that most people who think the WIIU can do it, say that with a wince ... because it is nintendo after all. Just a notch away from being Hasbro.
gtafreak102
It won't be GTA Five, I actually haven't read up on the Wii U, but I assume that's the best system they'll have on offer compared to others they compete with I kinda doubt if its gonna be V but there will be some kind of GTA on the Wii U
PowerKracker
Why do people still think that Nintendo censors games and doesn't let mature games on its consoles? The Wii had Manhunt 2 ffs. The reasons that stopped GTA on Nintendo were technical (Gamecube had small disks, Wii has obsolete hardware).
UberChargedCJ
guess rockstar wont continue with WII or WII U because of manhunt
