TheShogunOfHarlem
Like the title says it's a minor issue but how are we (as far as animations go) supposed to bail out of fighter jets in GTA V? (assuming they are flyable) In SA you just jumped out of them in a silly, cartoony way like any other vehicle. Will R* utilize ejector seat animations/parachutes for bailing out of a jet? ccrogers15
imagin a car, but in the air. There just gonna open the door and fly out.

Perhaps I should have specified that I was referring to fighter jets.
pilsvern
yeah ejector seats is a good way and no need to wear a parachute, he is included
Inusan
You open the door/window used to climb in, the door/window might fly off depending on the speed and angle of the aircraft, and the character falls downwards and slightly backwards/forwards depending on the speed, height, and angle of the aircraft. Cole Phelps Gta
so you guys believe the jets will be flyable ? I guess they kinda have to be now their in the trailer and if thats the case its going to be a huge map

Why display FOUR different aircraft in the trailer, if they aren't even going to be usable by the player? (Learjet, Fighter Jet, Crop duster, Blimp.) Ratone
I would expect the Fighter jet to have an ejector seat, I'm not sure the crop-duster would have one. It would be fun if the Fighter Jet worked like the one in Top-Gun, where first you have to "eject" the window, then, you eject the seat. Anybody who saw the movie would probably know why it is so cool (and yes, we are all a little gay for liking that movie)

For a standard plane maybe. But I hope not for fighter jets. Realistically speaking, it would be stupid for a fighter jet's canopy to not be secured since the cockpit needs to be pressurized. Since R* is shooting for realism it would make more sense to have ejector seats.

I'll tell you right now, the blimp wont be flyable. It'll be a permanent fixture of the skyline like the buildings are. There may be a mission that takes place on it. It may or may not involve jumping out of it with a parachute. But you certainly will not be able to fly it.

Legendary912
The crop duster looks like the Stunt plane in SA, I hope it makes a return
deathil93
It's possible to jetison the canopy and just "exit" the jet, problem is (in real life) the G forces are so huge that you can barely breath, let alone climb out of a mach 1 fighter jet, hence the ejection seats. The pilot/co-pilot just pull the cords by their head and that's it, the ejection system does the rest.
Snake Without a Tongue
You could climb out in the original SA. Don't see why you won't be able to this time. I hope we can shoot guns while falling in a parachute. Probably asking too much, but...
