DEADP00L
Every GTA has its own parody characters of either a tv show, movie, music, etc. What sort of characters or parodies/homages will we see this time? I'm pretty sure there'll be something about either Jersey Shore and Justin Bieber. Also, maybe some characters or locations based on Breaking Bad? I'm secretly hoping for more nods towards Sons of Anarchy, but I guess TLAD covered that enough. What would you expect to see in V concerning our popular culture of today? Ice1980
Justin Bieber would be hillarious. They can really have him in a skit on the radio, or a voiceover by someone. They could call him Justin Beaver lol
Miamiguy
yeah Id like to see some wannabe gangstas in SA. Like OG loc kind of people I don't exactly understand what you want here... SIKKS66
Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black are children. The only people who find abusing them funny are also children. True story bro. I'd love to see a Twitter spoof, something called Twatter or Prattle etc. Every character you meet in game has an account and you can follow their messages. Like "OMG we just knocked some dude over" or "@JimmyV you so crazy, we need to do that thing we discussed".
Rede
I could imagine a lady gaga type personality who is constantly embroiled in controversy because of overwhelming evidence that she's a man in drag.
hambones
i'm expecting a full-blown parody of twitter and the obsession with celebrities, and i hope to see them parody people like charlie sheen, kim k, rebecca black, justin bieber, and also make fun of jersey shore and who knows what else. The Hitch
If anyone is a Republican I would advise you not to buy the game lol. The whole radio networks, tv and the story will be taking the piss out of ex President Shrub a lot, and no doubt lots of racists calling in complaining about a Black President. They were already doing some of that in IV and the last few years have been even more politicized with many mediums openly taking sides. Add to that the fact that Rockstar don't care who they offend, and they've already had some disputes with these Conservative saying the game is too violent or some such. Of course the usual lots of evangelical types ranting against immigration and homosexuality and all that will also be included.

Leve-O
If he is trying to provide for his family, which the trailer kinda suggests, then I would definitely see a Breaking Bad reference. Which would be pretty awesome.

A GTA where the protagonist is trying to provide for his family would be pretty original on Rockstar's part. In RDR John is trying to steer his family AWAY from crime. In V it could be encouraged, or the protagonist could keep what he does a secret.
JOSEPH X
I expect Call of Duty/Halo and other FPS's to be parodied. Didn't the casting call mention a FPS playing slacker? It could even be one of the minigames and be based on Republican Space Rangers.

I recently started watching the show and since episode 1 I've been constantly thinking "This is GTA material!" ^_^ I really hope to find an RV in the middle of the desert with smoke coming out, then a man in his underwear storming out of it. Slamman
The arrogant kid star who has some issue, on the radio in various aspects, that was always comical, and multi-guest panels on talk radio, but could we see some in-game theater and comic or musical acts? MostOfAll
Since the game is set in Los Santos, a rendition of Los Angeles, it would be reasonable that you can pass by in-game celebrities, especially in Vinewood. I'd say there should be some a mini-game or side missions that involve these celebrities. Maybe a paparazzi mini-game? That would make the camera feature on the cell phone much more effective. pdbq
It's in Hollywood so there will probably be a bit of a pisstake on celebrities. A parody of Justin beiber would be funny but to kill him? That would be a stupid move by rockstar, he's not classed as an adult so it would cause controversy, as a radio Personality more likely. I also expect to see Facebook and twitter parodied aswell as the economic crisis and the political status of America
DEADP00L
I feel social network sites already have been parodied on IV, but they're bound to return anyway. Although it'd be fun to put a bullet into a virtual Bieber, I'll be happy if they make fun of his GTA counterpart trough the radio or tv.
