Niko in GTA V

I do not want Niko to return in this next game. I thought he was a great character and I did enjoy playing as him, but personally, I feel that this should be a new era, with no returning main characters from GTA IV. The characters may have been great, however I feel that it's time for us to move on.

I think they could make an apperance of Niko. Have it be him now, with a better half story since we know how the other one turned out. Only this time it would be better! His storyline was depressing, but this one would be more lively more happy feeling. The next one could start off when they player left off. Like if the player had Kate/Roman die then the disk would know this and kind of pick it up from there. I could see Niko sitting on a beach or a pool side table with women all around him in a big mansion. Maybe one would be sitting next to him jerking him off or something!   It would be Roman's American Dream, only Niko gets to live it now! And he's living it up!! I loved Niko as a character. I thought he was cool, but sometimes the story line and some of what the characters would say about their lives was very depressing. Made me think of how crappy my own life is.

I would like that. It could start off(like he said) where GTA IV left off. Maybe Niko would come to Los Santos to forget about his past and everything that happened in IV, but something would happen and he would loose everything he built/had in IV. Then he would have to build his life up once again, except this time there would be a happy ending. A VERY happy ending!

Would you want missions in GTA V where you have to work for Niko, and do a few things that involves robbing banks, and killing mafia members? it seems like it would be a pretty cool idea to me. I think it's still in the same era because we seen Jerry Kapowitz in the 1st trailer. Hell, I wouldn't mind Niko being the main protagonist in GTA V, but my bet is still on Tommy. So, would you like it if R* put in missions for Niko?

I want to kill Niko Bellic? Why you ask?

Well, first of all, let me make this clear, I love the character. His whole demeanour was interesting in that he was disarmingly polite but that civility hid a dangerous criminal mind. Out of all the protagonists, he seemed the most personable and yet the most mercenary in his attitude to his work. Making friends, killing friends, business as usual.

He was a tragic figure, a broken man with nothing save for crime. When he asks Roman: 'What am I good at? What is my trade?' It's a pathetic plea from a empty husk of a human being.

 

The ending of IV tied up some loose ends and yet there was n closure, no victory, Niko was unhappy an despondent about the whole thing. He was not in control of Liberty City, he was not happy and he had not found any meaning or salvation in his exploits. He was simply a bad man doing bad things to bad people.

 

I think it's safe to say he probably has enough enemies to hound him to the ends of the earth. Russians, cops, Italians, even the Jewish Mob probably wants him dead. So why not shock the player and have them assassinate this man in a fairly routine hit? I think he would have hit the bottle pretty hard. Without the revenge motive, what else did Niko really have? Just memories of dead friends and endless failiures on his conscience.

 

Showing this man, who you grew to like and respect, as a burnt out wreck would be an unforgettable moment in the series. A mission which the fans here would always talk about. And it would give us closure, there'd be no more wild speculation about whether he would or wouldn't appear. We'd know his story and more importantly, we'd know how his story ended.

 

I've been waiting for Rockstar to pull this kind of swerve for a while. Killing off one of your most popular protagonists would be the kind of gutsy move that would help V become a really unique story.

Plus it would give those who liked Niko us a chance to end his story and those who hate him to say a final f*ck you But yeah I don't think he'd come to LS, he'd probably be dead by now. Best character so far along with Tommy. CJ was a pussy. haters gonna hate

Yes well that's all fine and dandy but there is one minor problem, if i remember well in some interview Michael Hollick was asked if he would consider reprising his role as Niko in the next game and he said no because of some money related issues
