Also, I believe I read somewhere R* said that they all met some end before GTA IV was out when asked if they would show up in GTA IV. Not that they didn't exist. pdbq Posted November 4, 2011 Share Posted November 4, 2011 Eras are a made up thing made up by fans...claude wasn't mentioned in gta IV because there was no crossover in the story, it wouldn't of made sense. However in SA, it's obvious some things from SA are returning eg Jefferson Motel, vinewood sign, that really big star shaped building, and quite likely grove street will feature as it played such a big role in previous games. III had no landmarks which warranted a return, unlike SA. For example of VC was re-created, some of the landmarks which may return include the film studios, Tommys mansion and maybe the Malibu club. Exactly like they did with IV's Liberty City. The characters and places from old games will not return because in this world THEY NEVER EXISTED. It's a different universe. A Los Santos reboot. At most you'll get some easter eggs, like a graffiti with CJ's name on it or his outfit. Not Grove St., not CJ himself. Get over it. Oh, and btw that's not the Jefferson motel. I was wondering if they would do that again.. please share your resources, as you have been privy to some facts. I can only speculate and give my opinion.. I THINK..because NOBODY knows yet.. I THINK Rockstar may try to do like they did in IV, and scrap all old charecters and history from that location, just re-use it.. I dont like that as much as I am very into GTA story and want to see the charecters from previous games. Now, I HOPE that we see charecters like The Truth return, and I did hear that the voice actor of CJ was at Rockstar Studios..
