Posted November 4, 2011 Share Posted November 4, 2011 I've seen a couple of posts implying that GTA V is a new era altogether, but considering the 'pic showing Niko's plane ticket to SanAn, doesn't that mean V is part of the universe which IV has already established? The only reason to make a new era is so they can do a new rendition of a city, and Los Santos was never properly shown in the IV era up to now. I'd say there's only two proper eras so far, III and IV. I wouldn't really say the games prior belonged to the same era.
