GTA V Gangs

I reckon the Italian Mafia/Cosa Nostra, the Russian Mafia, the Triads and the Yakuza will return in GTA V. They are really common and well know gangs, so they warrant an appearance in GTA V.

I reckon the Italian Mafia/Cosa Nostra, the Russian Mafia, the Triads and the Yakuza will return in GTA V. They are really common and well know gangs, so they warrant an appearance in GTA V.

Just because those crime groups they are really common and well-known in the American the underworld scene, that is not necessarily mean they should automatically be included in GTA V. Assuming Rockstar are going to largely be realistic about this, we should see crime groups and street gangs in V that are based on those that exist in Los Angeles in real-life. I have no probelm with the crime groups you mentioned being in V because they do exist in LA, but I would say more so about the Triads and to some extent, the Russians.

 

However, the main crime groups that should be featured in V are the Mexican drug cartels, LA-based Hispanic and African-American street gangs, the Armenian mob and maybe the bikers and White American Nazi gangs.

Italian Mafia will be in it for sure but I'm guessing they will have the same kind of role they had in VC basically one of the main antagonists flying over to LS to find Ned Luke after he ran away from liberty.

Assuming this is in the GTA IV era/universe, a chapter of the Angles Of Death will be in it for sure.

On the off chance R|* would want to relate the III Era and the IV Era, I'd love to see the Families make an appearance. It obviously wouldn't make sense to see any memorable characters, or even landmarks such as Grove Street if GTA IV's re-imagining of Liberty City was anything to go by. Still, though, would be nice.
