Znd
Everything we've seen and heard, from the logo, to the trailer, to the official announcement, has indicated that money will play very heavily in GTA V. At first I just thought "Well, it will be interesting to see how they do that." But then I realized it's kind of obvious. I'm thinking they are just gonna have a really advanced economic system in the game this time, that allows you to make money through a lot of different ways, and then allows you to not just spend it, but invest it...like into businesses. I have always thought one of the most fun, and underrated games was Vice City Stories, where you could take over businesses, renovate them, and upgrade them, and get profits from them. I'm thinking that's what we will be able to do in GTA V, in an even more intricate way. And then with the money we make, we can buy cars, planes, boats, and possibly there will be a huge section of houses and you can purchase almost any house you see in the game. That would be awesome. And even the ways you make money could be very interesting. We all know the traditional way of making money in GTA: Risk your life and your freedom by going out shooting people, and some goon will kick you down a few bucks. Of course that is fun for all of us, but I have sometimes thought, what if we could just make money at normal kinds of jobs? I know that sounds extremely boring or stupid to some people, but I have always thought I'd get a kick out of pretending my character was a real life person and driving him to some sh*tty job, and then maybe when he's had enough of it, he just shoots his boss and coworkers and enters a life of crime! But yeah, I think the money will mainly play into the game in the form of an advanced economic system, and I look forward to seeing how intricate it is and how much fun that translates into with the game. They could actually learn a lot from Assassin's Creed, which found a way to give an open world action game a strategy/simulation side game...upgrading businesses and whatnot...but I think R* could take that much further, being that they're R* and that their game takes place in modern times. What do you guys think?

jogy
I hope, and thats my assumption Rockstar wil give cars more value. Stealing cars and get money for it. Would be awsome.
mooby346
Just imagine a commune, where everyone can just help each other. It could have one guy, that like, makes bread. And one guy who like, looks out for other people's safety. Imagine a place where people live together and like, provide services for each other in exchange for their services. Lol but seriously, I think they should include a lot more activities in the game dependant on money. GTA IV got so boring because you had all that money and absolutely nothing to do with it. I can see a lot more mini-games, etc. dependant on money this time. What if they make it so you can buy properties, aka houses, upgrade them, and then sell them? Once you're rich of course. What if you could actually go into a car dealership and buy whatever car in the game that you wanted? Same with boats, planes, etc. And of course gave you the prerequisite space needed to store all those vehicles? The real world revolves around money, and that's one thing that GTA shouldn't overlook especially considering how useless money was last game.
