It would be cool if the protagonist bought a house there, and he was like "It feels like i have been here before". I tried to work it out but im unsure. As you walk into Grove Street, the houses on the left had the highway behind them, the ones dead in front of you like Sweets had the sewers behind them, and it wasn't CJ or Ryder's house which are the only ones on the right hand side. We have already spotted so many almost identical locations from the trailer like the Jefferson Motel (and the alley/roads surrounding it), Vinewood sign and many buildings and streets which look identical to the one's in GTA San Andreas. Grove street was much more important than those other locations they have put in, so i'm confident it will be in there. It would be cool to see how the street has changed, if the gym is still there, how the grove street gang is doing and if possible see the old characters walking around there/possibly be involved in the story somehow or maybe side missions. That would not make sense as i only counted around 6 tall skyscrapers in the trailer, almost the same amount as in GTA San Andreas. The city doesn't seem to have changed that much but the residential area has increased in size a lot. Grove street was a good distance away from the city/tall buildings area ('Commerce'). I'm sure most of the GTA San Andreas areas surrounding Grove Street ('Ganton', 'Willow Fields' and 'East Lost Santos') will all still be there, but much bigger. KarinSultanRS Posted November 4, 2011 Share Posted November 4, 2011 Hmm they used Grove Street as a base for expanding into other districts (Idlewood) The last thing that happened there on the final mission was Tenpenny's Death off the bridge into Grove Street So based on that info on Tenpenny I hope we see some sort of monument to him, as the last thing CJ says is 'See you around' as his dead body is lying on the floor. I could edit every single piece of info on GTA Wiki if I wanted with no problems. It also states that the guy on the balcony in the trailer is the main protagonist in the game even though there is no evidence to show, solidly, who it is yet. And why they would take important stuff out just because they add a street with a huge cul-de-sac, some similar houses and name it Grove? I have seen many random buildings which were not important to SA, but they still appeared in the trailer. I don't understand why not to put Grove street in? It was a very important part of Los Santos in that era. A street can't last 20 years? Last i checked it was far from the main city so likely not effected by construction. Even if it was all run down, tucked in some small part of the map, I think it would be a cool throwback to SA. What do you think? You know, street gangs die out in a decade right? I'm just saying.
