LCstuntman
Do you think R* would include Grove Street in GTA V? Even if it was all run down, tucked in some small part of the map, I think it would be a cool throwback to SA. What do you think?
Turin88
Why wouldn't they? GTA V is set in Los Santos, and Grove Street is a part of that.
Matty
They probably will include Grove Street in the new redesigned San Andreas, but I highly doubt that it will play a major role in the storyline of Grand Theft Auto V. If anything, as you said; it would probably be just another street in Los Santos without any major significance.

MrMagic50
It will probably feature a street that resembles it in the run down ghetto part of the city.
xUSMC SSGTx
That would be cool. Maybe you could go into CJs house and find some kind of easter egg.
Algonquin Assassin
I doubt it'll be included. If anything I reckon people will start theorizing about culdersacks that look like it. Remember the old abandoned house in Alderney on the cliffside in GTA IV that people thought was Salvatore's from GTA III? That would probably be more interesting anyway. Grove Street is based on Compton and its surroundings on South Central, that's basically the ghetto of Los Angeles. Compton/Grove Street is definitely going to be in there. Well R* is going to completely rebuild everything from scratch, the difference between SA's Los Santos and V's Los Santos will be as big (if not bigger) than the difference between GTA III and IV's Liberty City. And IV's Liberty City didn't have Claude's houses...
Brawly
Of course they will, Grove Street gangstas might even be our enemies this time.

Trideez
Not only will it be there, but MARK MY WORDS, there WILL be DLC that is CENTERED on the Grove Street Families, or the Ballas. Meaning you will get to play as a Gang Member in one of the DLC packs for V.

Yeah, but Grove Street isn't required to make South Central. I guess we'll only know after the game comes out...

Compton and South Central are not the same place. Indeed, but the ghetto area of San Andreas is definitely influenced by the criminally active environments in both Compton and South Central. When we last left them, CJ was on top of the world and Sweet is right there with him. And Sweet is Grove 4 Life.

Turin88
Why don't they call it something else, to be, I don't know, original? What's wrong with continuity? They don't need to rename Liberty City, Vice City or San Andreas... so why rename smaller locations?

Remember the old abandoned house in Alderney on the cliffside in GTA IV that people thought was Salvatore's from GTA III? That would probably be more interesting anyway. Im pretty sure that the house in Alderney on the cliffside in GTA4 was more of a homage than the actual house the Salvatore lived in. So we might have a street that has a Cu l-de-sac that might bear resemblances to the original Grove st Cu l-de-sac.
The Rocker
It won't be in per se, it'll be a look-alike, similar to the Alderney Mansion that people think is Salvatore's mansion. It'll be in the south, near to a bridge. Probably infested by the Mexicans.
LittleBlueTroll
I really, really hope it is in the game and i cant see why it wouldn't be. I spent sooo many hours driving up and down that little strip to Grove Street, so much nostalgia there its like a real life place lol! Seeing it in current gen would be amazing, i really don't want them to remove it and i cant see why they would.
